i'm fairly new...so interested in why you chose the 6 count. (i'm native to the 8 count.)

@silvermic101 The 6 count is a musical count and is expandable to match other forms of dance and is the original way the dance was counted. The "3 beat 8 count" doesn't count music it counts steps and has built in limitations; it is not capable of explaining other dance forms
