well, i think i have an explanation for that thing. you know that if you jump on a zombi you kill him right? There must be some sort of code that detects your feet on the zombie, making that an instant kill. it doesn't kill it by the fall, just by the contact of the feet. So that's what happens with the ladder, they collided against your feet, activating whatever code and instant killing them. that's the only thing I can reason, and it's actually stupid if it's that.

Meh maybe Chuck Norris was one of the creators and made it so if your feet touch enemies then it auto house-kicks so fast that you can't even see it!
