I have plus, tested this 2/16/12 and it does NOT work.

True, PSN does account for the full version having been purchased, but this is likely similar to how many demo/unlock transactions work over PSN. The demo file (in this case the full game trial w/ time lock) contains the full version of the game, but requires the unlock (full version purchase token) for the game to function without time constraints.

This got my hopes up, I'm just glad I'd already gone Plus before being let down.

It does work heres how

1- you have to download the trial then you can download the real one.

2-the reason this works is because you are tricking your system to think you have the real game so when you go to re download the real version(not the trial) it still has the same saved data just the full version

3- you can do this with all games that have a trial version and a real version

4- i have done this with assassins creed brotherhood and infamous

ps- you need ps plusfor all trials

Would you still get the full game if you clicked the trial, pressed O to completley get out of the Playstation store, went into the View Download list in the PS Store and downloaded it again from there? Assuming the person had Playstation Plus?
