  • have one of these and find it OK for fiddling around on...recently the bridge lifted but with some maintence work I have it back and running hopefully for a while yet..ended up glueing it back and screwing the bridge in..but reading other comments maybe less tension might have worked too.

  • @Ukelectic - Thats a shame you've had problems, mine still seems to holding up okay after 8 months and lots of use. I think the whole guitar benefits from the downtuning, It's just a shame Lindo don't make a point of recommending this but I guess it'd put a lot of people off buying the thing. Diggin your uke playing by the way, lots of fun.

  • @robbolandsvids Cheers the Ukes are great fun..with regard the Lindo I hope the occassional bad thing doesn't put people off either as it's a cheap product and did manage me a couple of years..I have since done a repair which looks OK and hopefully will buy me time with it as it is a great looking instrument and has a unique sound..from now on I shall down tune just to hopefully extend the life of it..I'm enjoying fiddling with a Guitar a bit at present!!

  • Nice playing,

Did you use the force at the end to turn the camera off?

  • @elementos94 : Thank you..and yeah, the force does have it's uses sometimes..

  • looks a bit oriental lol like some traditional chinese mandolin type thing idk. wonder what it be like with a piezo and EQ setup in there.

  • @11thhourreprieve : I've since downtuned the whole thing by 2 frets to reduce tension on the neck and it seems pretty happy like that, and yeah, it is a really interesting thing to play because of the wierd tones it's got.. I think a pickup will make this a lot more fun, it is something I intend to try.

  • I just got one last week, the natural colour. Found the action absolutely horrible and after sanding down the bridge a bit it choked like a bugger at the fourth. Got it sorted eventually but find it hard to tune even though I'm fairly certain the intonation isn't too far out. Still, it was cheap and it will be nice to have a guitar on holiday with me this year! Nice style of playing by the way..

  • @leemaddison101 I spent a while lowering the action at the top end of mine and I've also lowered the whole tuning down two frets, The bridge will probably get taken down when it's restrung.. so far so good.. Cheers for the comment, I might record something else with this soon, it's working ok with some nasty blues-pickin at the moment..

  • cheers for thbis vid dude, i got a similar guitar, pleased i havent invested in a piece of shit :)

  • @kirkleeslater It's a lot better than I thought it would be, or deserves to be at the price..I would suggest changing the strings for a lighter set however..I think mine arrived with 13's on it and I'm a bit concerned about the tension possibly taking the neck out of shape..I've just ordered some 11's for mine and I think that will make things a little less stressful for the guitar, cheers for the comment.
