This has to be a joke. Dude thinks that his 5000 series MTX are good? Reminds me of when I was 15 years old and getting my first system put in my truck. Although, come to think of it, I had Image Dynamics subs, Kenwood speakers (inside the cab of my truck) and a 5 channel amp (so the speakers actually sounded good too, not just some shitass bass). Wow, how times have changed. Kids need to learn the true meaning of AUDIO.

it converts signal from the door speakers to low level imput (rcs's) so the amp can get signal from the head unit without rca outputs from the head unit.

well the line output converter is known to distort A LITTLE, so if you can afford a new head unit, i would get one. if not the line output converter is great too. personal decision.

well they're sold now, but they were pushed by one kicker zx750.1 (750 watts rms) and they were wired in series at 4 ohms. Not huge amount of power, but like you said-not bad for a truck!
