No, no, my preference is based on aesthetic reasons. I also understand and am grateful for the work of allied British forces with America. Although you could say the very discussion of which cat is more attract is itself very shallow.

The reason I don't like British short-hairs is because their face reminds me of those Pug dogs that I never took a liking to.

And just ask the question before you go around calling people shallow...how VERY rude.

i have a shorthair and a maine coon, and have had abyssinians and others in the past. i loved all of em because of their personalities, not because of how their faces or anything else looked... they don't have a choice.

I had a cat that I had that had had 1 eye and nose torn off by a coyote. he wasn't going to win a beauty contest, but he was beyond 'cute.' so loving. RIP
