Interesting fact, this was the first live performance of the song ever. Trace will be at West Point this fall for a concert and we (the Glee Club) will be singing this with him again. If you're in the area, definitely look into it.

@MitchIpson It's sad that so many people take soldiers for granted without even thinking about how hard it is to live a military life or that these people volunteered to go. You can't say do so many things civilians take for granted. When everything goes to Hell, you don't get the luxury of running away. You may not even get a "thank you." And still you keep your head up, because you're the one who can take it. Sometimes, it seems like suffering is the lot of those who walk a hero's path.
