What are the odds that I could convince you to do a series on making something similar to the way you have your team profiles, that looks incredibly complex, but gorgeous.
I'm new to Drupal, trying to figure this kind of stuff out, your videos are a great help (you should post some new ones!)
@BrianAndersTS glad to hear they help :) I do plan to post new ones soon, once I have a minute to record a few. Still need to figure out which topics to handle next.
@linwclark You should build a site from scratch again, also do something to replicate the team profiles page (my request) because those were gorgeously built, and awesome.
Your videos are on target for someone approaching D7 from another CMS--someone like yours truly--and they are also timely as the dev releases roll out.
OT question: Within Bartik, have you found any way to make the menu tab (at around 9:00) float right instead? I'm not looking to use an RTL language or anything, but prefer my tabs to be less conspicuous . . . hence, to the right.
I actually haven't explored the Bartik admin very much (I do my own custom theming) but you could do this in the CSS by adding "float: right" to #navigation ul.links
These videos are meant for an audience that is new to Drupal. They are being created as part of a intro course at DERI, and this is the fifth (as it says in the description).
I doubt someone who has created sites in Drupal 6 needs to watch an intro course.
I seriously appreciate this video. :)
