  • thanks 4 d 1derful prsentation sir,, can i download this software for free...nice day...

  • ok...... thankzz... i like it...

  • Agree. That's why I recommend using the rats nest view to assist in placement and routing. Autoroute is good to see any complications. Indoors and start again

  • @intellecta see Atarado boards and support software for it. Tell me is it worth for such simple designs.

  • You should never use autoroute or autoplace unless you have a VERY simple board or to route a single tricky track.

  • Is this just for making a pcb using through hole design ,or can it also let you design a pcb which is only for smd components ?

  • another alternative to printing a transparency would be to purchase a film positive. Some layouts require higher quality then a desktop printer can offer. Accent Publishing

in San Antonio does a great job. 210-654-9555

  • Any of you guys ordered any of the cheaper pcb prototypes from china? Sites like pcbcart and Myro PCB offer really cheap boards - but are they as good a quality as euro/usa based suppliers?

  • are you the guy from GEICO auto insurance?

  • See previous post - Kelvin in the US, new wave concepts in the UK or Intellecta in Australia/NZ.

  • which website can you get circuit wizard at?

  • Purchase from Kelvin in the US, New Wave in UK or Intellecta in Australia/New Zealand

  • are they any more library/component files i can download for this?...

or a circuit wizard community site?

and if so where...? cheers .

  • @100roberthenry

Please check with New wave concepts. Email your request to them. Planning a forum site for educators only. That is, won't be looking at hobby projects and questions but looking at education and teacher support.

  • how to get the software

  • @strangerlover11

    What exactly is your duty?

  • @strangerlover11

    US Distributor is Kelvin

    UK- new wave concepts

    Aus and NZ - intellecta

  • @intellecta .........but how to get that software?

  • @strangerlover11

    What exactly is your duty?

  • how to get the software .............

  • how to add components to this circuit design software there is no TDA IC's

  • How can you tell which layout is optimal?

  • Simple - look at the elegance of the solution in terms of manufacturing and testing.

The more boards you design and make , the better you will see the solution. Have a look at commercial boards for ideas.

    Thanks

  • is altium good? i cant seem to simulate circuits in altium...

  • How can I create custom connectors or IC's for Circuit Wizard?

  • I have altium desinger 2009 is that software any good? does it have the fetures of this circuit wizard program?

  • good program this vs pads? and i hate ur voice

  • You sound like the Sniper from Team Fortress 2. Aussie Aussie Aussie!

  • dude.. where 2 get that

  • Can you give me your software full ver. circuit wizzard send me..i need it.., the simulation is so very nice perfect.....

  • my diagram is really small it only has a few parts a timer chip 7555cmos a relay a few led lights real easy if you make a pcb layout can i just submit it to a company and they will print me out the board seems so simple cause once you have the diagram in the program it will give you the layout and you can put the peices they way you want them you made it look simple

  • so your telling me that with this program if put in a electrical diagram the program will draw out for me the layout for a pcb board i dont have to draw the lines my self i have been searching for some company to build me the layout for the pcb but the program does it for you that what your saying

  • Most circuit design programs use a schematic as a plan for the circuit where all the components and connections are defined. The automatic placement and automatic routing are only acheived with the expensive high end packages. There is no replacment for the brain because you have to define the location of things such as connectors etc, The Circuit Wizard automatic routing is not that good. You will have poor tracks and locations. Advise that you use a manual routing process for good success

  • @intellecta Why and how is the auto routing in circuit wizard bad?

  • @get2bxl i'm not spamming or at least it's not my intention, check my video response to compare the CWZ auto-route (like this) to manual tracking. if your shematic it's not that large or too big, i can do it for you.

  • @get2bxl Sure, Altium can also do it, but it's a huge mess! :D

  • this vid turned me on...

  • @rinjingan wtf is ur problem

  • Thank s gread useful info..~~~~~~~

  • Excellant video.

  • Men Turn Snake

  • An excellent video Tony. I found it very interesting and helpful. Keep up the outstanding work. Cheers, Aaron.

  • where did you get the software?

  • Thanks. The software is from new wave from the Uk. The US supplier is Kelvin.

If you do a search, it will pop up with local suppliers.

    Thanks

  • I'm getting it from school xD

  • great video, good useful info.. wonderful

  • Please don't sigh my friend, it is very depressing

  • This video is quite relevant to my interests. Yet, what I really want to learn is the reasons for everything you are doing does what it does. I would like to cognizantly understand the function of every component that is involved in a circuit board. Can you offer any recommendations that would point me in the correct direction for reference.

  • Dear Dylan,

Circuit Wizard is an ideal teaching tool and helps develop the underlying understanding before you can design an electronics product. The help files with the software are useful. There is a veru useful text book ( no disrespect) called "electronics for dummies". I have used this in introductory electronics programs and it has a good balance. Enjoy!!!!

  • Hello, may I ask where to download absolutely free Circuit Wizard software? coz the demonstration version cant convert into pcb layout? Pls. help

  • Sorry but you can't, it cost

  • Thanks for the post. Circuit Wizard is not free. Sorry!!!

  • There are certain sites where it is possible to get it free....

  • thanks for the reply=) like what site? heheh ^_^ torrent?

  • As the design rules say, a track can't go across component's pads as you did in the battery

  • wow! thanks for this video:) i'll add it in my favorites ... thanks.. it helps me a lot... 5star!

  • its not "led" its an L..E..D sos dont mean 2 b mean i do it 2 every1 i just cant help cause it stands for LIGHT EMITTING DIODE :)

  • I have Circuit Wizard here and it is awesome but... Where the heck are the inductors? I've looked everywhere. It's like they are disavowing the existence of them... : /

  • Dear designer.

The inductors are in the passive folder - resistors, capacitors and inductors. Check this out.

I have found problems with the inductors in terms of simulation. I suppose the equations are too difficult.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks

  • Nice Video mate, 5 stars for you :).

I wonder if you can help...I'm quite new to this program. I am trying to design a stepper control board with a 25way and 9way D-type connectors on it. Do you know how I can do this, as the D-types are in the "PCB Components" library and I can't seem to track to them, Thanks.

  • hi i don't know if this will help but i have this programme and in the connectors folder in the circuit diagram page select single-in-line (sil) and then select the 9 way or whatever u want and then right click on it then select symbol and then convert as . select from the drop down box 9 way D-type socket and then when you convert it to PCB it will be wired up for u .

  • omg genius i love you :D

  • Did it work

  • Thanks ^^

  • i would give you oral sex if you made this for make. seriously this is what ive been lookin for.

  • i meant for mac

  • is circuit wizard free?

  • no it's not, so I think to looking for a free sw

  • I want downloads Circuit Wizard.

  • Orcad and Multisim are slightly better

  • thats pretty interesting, although i didnt get everything, but i would like to know more

  • noicee.
