  • Nice beat.

  • @CrateExcavator real talk. premo is the g.o.a.t

  • Lmao rice puff daddy.

  • Dope beat, man! I just bought an MPC 2000XL and I love it! But when it comes to transfer the beat to my mac, I'm stuck! I think I know how to do it, with midi cables, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd be very happy if you could help me out!

    Love you tee, btw ;)

    Peace from Sweden!

  • @Nintendosoundtrack record it via AUDIO cables..MAIN OUT! just record it in your DAW!

  • Niice beat but what happened to you nigga ? Lol

  • @CrateExcavator whaha you're so right, some cats just don't seem to understand that it isn't always about chopped up and supercreative use of samples to make a GOOD beat! I've heard numerous beats, chopped up that was str8 garbage!

  • thats exactly wat i want to fuckin do.

keep up the good work rice puff daddy

  • SO IF MY MPC 2000 gives me a message(NO SYSTEM FILE) does that mean my boot up disk is bad????

  • @CrateExcavator true that alotta classics use loops.

  • NEED BEATS, SKANLESS JOE IS THE NAME YOU CAN TYPE MY NAME ON YOU TUBE CHECK OUT MY STYLE, E MAIL ME MAN... SKANLESSJOE@YAHOO.COM OR CALL MY LABEL GET'N PAPER'D UP RECORDS (619)512-7719. HALLA...

  • u suck

  • either call me old but who the fuck is this guy? Ive never heard of him. His songs or anything. I dont see anything that I should be saying wow. Simply this can be done on a boss sp303 sampler

  • nice beat man

  • @CrateExcavator thats A good point its just the producers preference alot of beats are just looped its made easier for the mc to rap over it keeps the beat clean and simple

  • dont really like this kind of stuff but i like what you do, yes ok maybe all it is is putting beats over a soul tune but it was done in a matter of minuets and it sounded quite nice, besides that is the crux of hiphop no matter how complex it is. i like your vids and find them inspiring as i have just got my hands on an mpc and am having great fun with it

  • so many haters so little time...lol....haters make me laugh..

  • Some beats don't need to be chopped up... especially if it sounds this good.

Quit trippin off image, it's about how it sounds

  • This beat slaps bruh!!! The Bay is the Building!!!!

  • "Chopped it up already"................no you didn't. lol. I made a beat with this sample and actually chopped it. It's called Used To Be and it's on my channel.

  • That Mpc 2000 was ugly

  • @SoldierBeats looks like an extra large version of the old nintendo.. this must be from the early 90's?

  • "sounds like its on beat, but Im not sure"

  • this samples from Con Funk Shun's "All Up to You" , spread the love, stop trying to hide your samples it's not like your making anything original. Good beat tho, keep it up. im still learning myself.

  • Jesus Piece? gawt dayum

  • ugly ass nigga haha

  • dope

  • sick....

  • I think people should find their own samples. It's kinda swagger jacking.

  • good technique!!!

  • That sucked...all you did was add drums over a loop. Chop your samples and be more creative, this is why hip hop is always accused of stealing.

  • @doodovf Shut your fuking mouth you fuking nigger piece of shyt.

  • @thesloc Woah, anger issues? :D

  • @doodovf calm down and stop talking shit

    dumb motherfucker.

  • @LoveHipHopLifeStyle Maybe I should be saying that to you. Peace.

  • @doodovf

No maybe you should do what i said

    dumb piece of shit

  • @LoveHipHopLifeStyle Why the hostility? People shouldn't be fighting, it just gets everyone reading this down. You just disagree with me, that's fine, its your opinion. Peace.

  • @doodovf You sound stupid. Sometimes things just need to be looped. It's even better when its a sample that people who listen to hip hop most likely wouldn't even know. Some of the best beats I heard where just looped samples. DJ Premier, Alchemist, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, and Timberland have all done it so stfu.

I went to your page..where the fuck are YOUR beats? Try finding a sample that can be looped and sounds good and see how easy it is you fuckin idiot.

  • @FreshSinceMyGenesis Its very easy for me to do... I make music professionally. Not sure how you can say you looked at my page but didn't hear any "beats" my whole channel is my music. Peace.

  • @doodovf u need to go back 2 hiphop were looping was done on 2 turntables u prick

  • @djpio707 THAT BAK THEN STYLES NOW SHOULD B MORE ADVANCED AND EVOLVED

  • @doodovf You white kids are so funny. Ten years from now you can tell your wife about your Troll days on the net(lol).

  • @doodovf you ain't the brightest. hip hop doesn't steal, any part of a song that doesn't use the entire part of the song is called sampling.

  • @doodovf He did alright...not every song needs a lot of chops. but still a pretty basic beat i agree

  • @doodovf who cares wat hip hop is accused of why should us hip hop fans care wat other people say.

  • @doodovf practice what you preach. ya fuck

  • @doodovf Amen, I wouldn't care if hip hop porducers use real instruments to sample, not audio from cds.

  • dude is good.

  • i know wat sample that is its dope

  • u forgot about the cd player

  • you didn't explain shit though.

or was that not the point of this video?

  • @zhn0k He explained the basics of how he made his song? And the video was only made to show him in the lab making a beat on the MPC sampler. I'm not sure what you expected from it a full tutorial where he got beats/cuts from or something.

  • what are you using for a mpc still the 2000? bc its been 2years

  • hey contact me if you are interest in making jingle for radio ads, of course, you probably dont need me...knowing you are good & kewl & all.

  • your high as the empire state homie

  • I like this guy. He knows whats fresh.

  • I don't get it. You make these cool movements with your head- looks awesome!

You try to record a pattern- struggle for a while and then compromise on something that is not finished and not soundings good at all and even has some mistakes. Yes you seem to be so happy with the result it has to be that you're high or you've never seen someone record a proper drum pattern in your life. I bet on the latter.

  • His Sample Was Hard To Find, took me forever to find it but in the end its worth it beacuse its a good song...Just ask if you want it

  • @smok50 What's the sample dude?

  • @uknohoo con funk shun -all up to you

  • @MrPROFESSORPHYSICS

    Thanks dude...Appreciate it!

  • @smok50 What's the sample dude?

  • oh, you just turn some knobs and tap the pads and you think your good. your not good, you suck. You dont know the names of your equipment, you studderred through every word. stop mashing the buttons so hard, and your mc name is cliche. peace neyo, p.s. you aint got the snare

  • beats decent. you look uncomfortable in front of a camera, and whats up with t-shirt over the button up?

  • wuts goin on big dawg!.... quick question!

after finalizing a sample beat...how do u transfer to your computer?

  • @fearthis1985

    Dude, dude...don't even..don't even.

  • so then what? can you mix the beat on the mpc? also, can the mpc connect to your computer so you can get your beat on the computer?

  • @xJeWdAcRiSx oh sorry lol that sounded rude, but i've just been curious what you do when you've finished recording the tracks....great beat by the way, simple but sick

  • you came across a good sample my friend. so jealous of your samples. Like dude it's the sample you like man not the beat' show us were to get the ill licks like the that from man. If producers wanna help us make good beat's when you come across a fire sample give it to someone else ' that i helping

  • bro you need more vids.

  • wtf is he wearing. is he from the 90s?

  • @krayzel what's the difference? are his clothes make beats?

  • @krayzel Does it matter when he makes a sick beat? You're skills probably suck.

  • @krayzel

Does it really really matter what i'm wearing, this youtube video is clearly showing people how to use an MPC not show people swag or how ppl rock clothes now...

Oh what am I supposed to confirm and wear skinny jeans, kanye shades, wear a G shock and wear those gay ass shades ... ??? thanks but no thanks...

And don't judge people by their color of their skin, judge them by their skills and coolness you PRICK...

  • aww... i need this toys!

    haha novate whit good toys

    good luck man

    nice beat

  • nice beat. NO hate BUT, you kinda have some crap gear. sell that shit and buy a nice piece like a 3k or sp.. mpc 2k sound is doo-doo-butter. and an mc505?? yamaha rem1x?? plz prove me worng and post something dope using those but idk if thats possible..

like i said tho, nice beat..

  • @beatlust 2000 is the shit man.

  • @GirlnamedBobby ummm yes it does SOUND like shit.

  • @beatlust did u just say the mpc 2000 sound is doo doo butter.. sounds like some1 doesn't know what they're talking about .. calling one of the most classic , and most preferred mpc's doo doo .. smh

  • @damiraclekid34 YES, peeps can make (dope) beats on the 2k.. ive had several 2kxls and 60's and a 3k (what I use now). its no big secret the 2k's sound is inferior to the 60/3k.. If you can make good beats on the 2k, shit will be blazini on the 3k. I was encouraging dude here in the vid to get a nicer piece and he'll see his sound/beats/whatevs improve no question. the 2k is not the most classic/preffered just the most affordable at time of its release. Umm, maybe YOU need to learn here.peace

  • @beatlust shows how little you know about producing. you believe that equipment plays a role, when in actuality it play the smallest role possible. Ye amongst other producers still rock mpc 2k and 2kxl a lot still rock the ASR. learn that its the man behind the equipment not the other way around.

  • @87168 yes, true it is the man not the gear.. BUT a talented person needs good tools.

  • @beatlust And you're still makin' whack ass beats with a trial version of garage band loaded up on your mom's old Mac. Get the fuck out of here you joke!

  • @zlliMR umm whatevs.. dont get hurt about it. ur soo eager to get all huffy, im sayin he has skills. Get some better gear and shit will be even better.

  • thats a big set up to mee haha

  • holy shit that mpc is HUGE !!!

  • fire sample...check out mine...

  • good shit. keep it up.

  • classic

  • CALM DOWN.. SON

  • damn... i NEED that sample.

  • Noob question here, but what does it mean to quantize?

  • @KillaCityMO its like it automatically keeps it in time, 4 bars etc

  • @KillaCityMO quantized drums (e. g.) are arranged drums to stick to the right positions. imagine this: for a drumer is almost impossble to play quantized drums.

in software like reason or fl you can see the "places" ocuppied by quatized drums in the drums sequencer.

  • sick radio

  • Sick

  • hey i got an ensoniq keyboard and really need your help..i need a memory card and cant find one

  • this is sick man i need 2 get one

  • sick

  • this is so sweet. i wanna get an mpc but anyone know what else i need to get with it? can't find the exact info anywhere on the net

  • @lgandolfini maybe with a synthensizer, headphones or speakers and a midi keyboard, but you musnt have that stuff - a cd player or turntable is really necessary when you want to make sample based beats, like chosen one

I have a large keyboard that i use as a speaker, a MPC1000, a synthensizer modul and a cd player

  • dope

  • mpc2000*

  • have a mpc classic for trade 4 a mpc 1000

  • Nice work! Puts me in chill mode!

  • You have to use external speakers or you can just plug headphones straight in, But its best if you run external speakers through a mixer, something small will do the job, drop in and peep my little set up out sometime, and by the way " Chosen One" I like that track alot, tight ass intro to, I love the MPC if you are into the 90's Beatminerz or Primo style, fuck Computer programs and the wack ass soundbanks, get your self a machine its fun....Peace man once again good shit !

  • Connect it to some sort of amp/mixer spkr combo or simply use the headphone jack. Note...... sounds you load have to be assigned to the pads before playing.

  • @911beats

    yes dumbass

now i dont usually knock any people who are new to anything but goddamn extermal monitors are necessary in any serious equipment. what the hell did you think the mpc was a 2000 dollar casio keyboard?

  • @911beats Maybe your program isn't loaded.

  • Wow, awesome beat, man !

  • Nice!!!!

  • He wasnt using the Tap Tempo button, the tempo was kind of off...but he brought it back though
