  • here are some plans for free: vintageprojects . com/metal-welding/SandBlaster-plans.pdf

    :P

  • Welding on any pressure vessel voids the certification of the vessel. If you weaken the metal where you weld, your "sandblaster" can become a bomb!

  • @Dln4936

True but the safety release valve should kick in before that.

  • @Dln4936

Most pressure vessels are welded. No one cares about certification on trash propane tank. You fill it with 100% water and pressurize 200% expected pressure to test and if it holds you are all set. Water filled vessels will rupture and squirt but not explode. That is how pressure vessels are tested.

  • Ok again I'm still confused but wanna know how to make one...

Ok so what's the point of the air going into the tank that holds the sand? Won't gravity make the sand fall into the hose to get shot out?

  • Didn't help at all

Learn how to speak cuz I confused

  • @shortyjk95 lol...

  • Cool thanks for the info.

  • any one that knows anything about presser and media flow will know as soon as they look at the fittings on the mixing valve what needs to be done for it to work wight, it is very clear in then cheep Princes auto presser sand blasters that the mixing valve is going to clog up all th time, simple as changing fitttings and air hose size, flow of anything can not flow well using 90 dagreee fitting, use a few 45 degree fitting in the direction of flow to start off with
