this might not help but just try to flick harder and tuck in your knees so the board will flip and rotate fully

if your landing is sketchy, who cares, you'll eventually get it

I am not sure if someone has already responded to this, but a presumably the board is going behind you and you are landing on the nose? If this is the case, then really try and concentrate on scooping your back foot behind you as much as you can, you should find this helps push the board forward and keeps it underneath you :P Hope that helped
