  • IOMG!! I just love this recipe and think I could literally eat this salad everyday! It is so amazingly good. I can't even imagine adding anything to it but since you asked for some ideas, the only thing I could come up with would be scallions or maybe an apple...but even that might detract from this amazing salad. Thanks for the great recipe.

    Jen

  • sun dried tomatoes. soaked dried mango instead of raisins

  • I love her!!!! That salad looks so beautiful, healthy and delicious. I'm all for good, smart nutrition! Keep em coming thanks!

  • Drool! I would add black olives, might be too much fat with the avocados but I love them. Beautiful salad you made!

  • Kale and Avocado are the best! If I was going to add something to the salad I might throw in some soaked de-shelled almonds! Thanks for posting!

  • this looks great! Can't wait to try it. I love kale & avocado & never thought to NOT cook kale. I'm considering a raw diet for myself & my two daughters & this is a great way to get us started! Thank you for this recipe!

  • What the Kale!!!!

  • I make mine the exact same way, only difference is I leave out sunflower seeds and I add cayannne.

  • I eat raw kale salad made with pine nuts, cranberries and tomatoes. My dressing is made from scratch. Yummy!

    Thank You so much

I am just starting out in a whole foods vegan diet and your recipes are wonderful and an a maxing help and motivation.

  • WHOA! a little too loud for 6 oclock in the morning! lol.... although thank you, i have been trying to figure out how to eat raw kale for awhile now

  • I just ate this salad last night for dinner. It was fabulous! I never had kale before. A friend of mine who has eaten raw before recommended it. This is like guacamole on your salad, yum!!! I used the regular kale, since I didn't know any better, but it was just great! I added red onion and pine nuts. I skipped the raisins, I'm not a fan. This is a keeper!

  • Awesome vid!! =)

  • I about to makeit right now.

  • awesome video guys !

yes ! I eat this salad religiously ' kale-avocado cucumber-bean sprouts-water crest-and more avocados , "the best salad ever" try it!

  • mmm...funny recently I've been thinking about how to prepare kale raw w/o dehydrating or blending =D

Can't wait to try this. I think I would add pumpkin seeds, a fresh assortment of berries, and maybe even a little crushed garlic ;)

  • add pomegranate arils , the fruit... little red pieces inside. deeelishous addition to salads.

  • I love your recipe but raisins are they not full of sugar? Lyme thrives on sugar and this is bad for us.

  • I Love the avocado in there !

  • good video, the salad looks awesome.

i would add black sesame seeds for the calcium and general attractiveness quality.

  • Lyme disease is serious business. You need to take antibiotics under the care of a doctor.

Even if you feel better today -- painful, irreversible, even life-threatening symptoms may reemerge months or years later.

  • Looks awesome.

  • sorry to hear you are not well kevin.

    a speedy recovery to you!

adding crushed garlic or onion would make the salad great!

  • how do you sprout sunflower seeds?

do you have a recipe for dandelion greens that tastes good raw?

  • i do a similar salad... what i usually add (to make it even better) is herbs to the avacado. instead of scooping out the avacado direclty onto the leaves and massaging, what i do is put the avacado in a separate bowl first, mix it up, sort of making a guacamole out of it, mixing in herbs (fresh basil, rosemary, fresh garlic, onion, anything you fancy) and then scooping out the more creamy mixture onto leaves... massage... voila!

  • maybe some green onions

  • Raw nori strips that would add extra bit of flavor to the dish.

  • I think if you added a red and yellow bell pepper you would really have some major flavor going on! A yellow bell pepper contains more vitamin c than any other common fruit or vegetable at 341 milligrams! It is definately a super vitamin c food! Nice salad recipe!
