I don't know if you've tried Melatonin yet or not. It works really well for me personally as something natural. Not only does it help me sleep better at night, but I don't feel as tired during the day. It doesn't totally dope you up like a lot of drug sleep aids, but it does make a difference for me and a lot of hardcore insomniacs I've talked to!
That is crazy about the Ambein! I was afraid to take it when I had insomnia. Scary stuff! I ended up using Melatonin, it REALLY WORKED and had no side effects. I had insomnia for 3 months before I tried it, wish I had done it sooner. But as someone else said, start with a low dose, read up on it.
OH, and my insomnia was made worse because I was fasting and detoxing at the time.

I also have insomnia, I try to balance my circadian rhythms by getting as much sunlight into my eyes during the day, and making sure the room is pitch black at night (I have to cover my eyes with something). I also unplug everything (or as much as possible) in the room so I can't sense the electricity humming around me. I don't wear sunglasses anymore. During the day, all the blinds are opened. No fluorescent lights if I can avoid them. Try not to look at lights or the computer at night.
oh ma lawd! sleep eating! I guess it wouldn't be so bad if all you had in your house was fruit, but on the other hand, not having cheetos in the house may have caused you to sleep drive to go find some!
Have you made cheesy kale chips? I use the cheese sauce recipe from the mac and cheese in Everyday Raw and just slather it on kale, and dehydrate. Tastes way better than cheetos, and much better for you (and Basil). To help me sleep, I unplug everything n the room and cover my eyes. Helps.

Reflexology works amazingly well for insomnia....and homeopathic medicines....at least for me anyhow :) Its cheap too !! Have a go bunny, and get Basil to massage your tootsies.

Crack and heroin...that's why I sure had to laugh when on one of your other vids you spoke of "crazy and crazzetta" ! Too funny (and familiar!) When I'm really tired (like just get woken up, I go eat). Speaking of the colonics, nutrition, and a periodic excorsizm, this is somewhat of the path I'm taking to get off the ciggs!
well i hope your happy to hear it. I used to take ambien. ok so this is what you do. just get a relaxation meditation tape and relax for like 20 minutes before bed. There is this natural herb i take called kava kava root. (DO NOT take it with prescription drugs) you want to get the liquid extract. it's in a glass bottle and comes with a dropper. It tastes like sand/dirt but it works great. It's not to knock you out. it relaxed you a lot though. works great!
Even though I'm a raw vegan - I do take bioidentical hormones (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone). I sleep so much better now. Hormone imbalances can start as early as in our 20s (sadly enouigh).

Do you think the behavior could also have to do with feeling any kind of deprevation in you current way out eating? or anxiety? Because you seem to be only eating the junkie stuff and not an apple maybe? Oh I have also asked if Raw foods has helped your PCOS a couple times, the symptoms, Never heard back...

P.S. Is it your family that keeps the junk food in the house? If so perhaps you can figure out a plan with them so that, especially when asleep you would never have access to it.
Hello~ The sleep walking/eating, etc., can happen with & without Ambien. There is video out there somewhere of people participating in clinical studies doing this. Hypnotherapy can help. Nothing wrong with a therapeutic Rx for sleep. Not enough sleep can = disaster. I've also had insomnia [raw foods have helped some already]. Took herbal medicine studies before nursing school: herbs are great but in 20 years not one or a combo has helped for sleep. Do what is safe that works for you~
