Brings me back to my teenage years and this movie was a favorite of mine...I had Cliff posters all over my room and I knew all of the songs from this movie by heart. Well, I still do. Cliff is always fantastic!!
That black Mini Clubman is superb and so is ex-Dr Who girl Debbie Watling. But I can't believe he threw away an expensive Kenwood Chef, because that wastefulness wouldn't be allowed nowadays. ;O)
This is really fabulous. I still know every word of those songs from the movie "Take me high". Posters of Cliff everywhere - almost. Thanks for sharing.
"It's only money" he sings ... yet about 20 years later he said something like So what if the cool crowd was laughing at me back then -- I was making a packet. What gives, Cliff?
Cliff answerd this at a concert when the millinuem prayer reached #1 despite almost every radio station refusing to playlist it at first. "Some people think cool is just what they like, but cool is also what we like, innit!"
You've actually just made me cry with happiness. I've not seen this for years it was my fave movie when I was little. I love Cliff so much. Thankyou thankyou thankyou xxxx
apparently this film was never released on DVD there are only videos in production, but then after hearing that i wondered how it managed to get on youtube.

"So what takes you High? Throwing a kitchen appliance into a dumpster? Or jumping in?"

@Grifiki worse yet, he threw it into a cement mixer. I guess if he jumped in he'd be joining the likes of Jimmy Hoffa.

Thanks from me too! I've been looking for this film ever since the Internet came out.
My first ever visit to the cinema at the age of three (1973) was to see this film, and I can still remember it clearly.
Thanks again from an ex West Midlander who now lives in Berlin but sometimes likes to lose himself in nostalgia! :-)
