A&M has a fairly easy SEC schedule. with only 2-3 probable losses. were probably gonna lose to arkansas, but like always itll be close. so we have a chance. were probably gonna lose to LSU but theyre offense is AWFUL. so if we get 13 points, we win. and alabama, which is a given. but our whole rest of the schedule is not as challenging as it could be. florida sucks, ole miss sucks missouri sucks, auburn is OKAY. anyway were young and just getting better. i say 8-4

We lost to lets see, Arkansas, and it was pretty close, they only lost to the two teams that played for the NCAA title, Oklahoma, yeah it was a blowout, but it was due to a crucial injury to our quarterback, and a lot of unforced errors, and Oklahoma State, who I still think would have won the NCAA if given the chance, on a last second play nonetheless. Our strength of schedule vs record was as high as anybody's.

We don't have as good a team, but it's all relevant, A&M has a good team and is 6-6, UT has a bad team and could be 8-4. sorry A&M is leaving, could have gone either way but sure was sweet to win 27-25.

We DO NOT LIKE TEXAS UNIVERSITY either..I remember last year after we were crushed by UCLA and Case Keenum tore is ACL in that game (obviously we did not like UCLA after that)...Ironically the following week, Texas played UCLA and the horns got CRUSHED, everybody at our stadium was thrilled! And they're a 2nd tier team in the SEC that went 3-5 in conference last year. A&M is Vandy quality football, without the quality basketball or the smarts. It was not until two years later when the deal with UT and ESPN was almost final and $300 million was at stake that A&M suddenly became interested. But by that time there was no going back so A&M decides to bolt to the SEC.

That made me laugh but i agree with @cole800. Also now the Big 12 has WVU and BYU 2 areas that expand the viewing area of the conference. If you have a problem with one school making another school look like it is completely incompetent and cannot compete with them, try to improve, running away looks cowardly and will only hurt recruiting.

The funny thing is once the NCAA leveled the playing field and introduced scholarship limitations A&M has Texas beat 17 - 15. Longhorn fans never mention that! this rivalry started when A&M was a all male school and you had to be a member of the corps of cadets to enroll. when that changed so did the rivalry! We DO NOT LIKE TEXAS UNIVERSITY either..I remember last year after we were crushed by UCLA and Case Keenum tore is ACL in that game (obviously we did not like UCLA after that)...Ironically the following week, Texas played UCLA and the horns got CRUSHED, everybody at our stadium was thrilled! And they're a 2nd tier team in the SEC that went 3-5 in conference last year. A&M is Vandy quality football, without the quality basketball or the smarts. So it's a good thing you don't care whether you win or lose, because that commitment will definitely be put to the test.

It was not until two years later when the deal with UT and ESPN was almost final and $300 million was at stake that A&M suddenly became interested. But by that time there was no going back so A&M decides to bolt to the SEC.

I think the Aggies should focus on winning a BCS bowl before even considering moving to a better conference, they have never had a good season unless either UT or OU is having a down year and any Aggie who thinks they'll contend for a SEC title in the next 20 years is delusional. The Aggies are jumping ship because they can't compete with UT and OU but they are jumping to the wrong ship if they think they're trying to win a conference title.
