  • i dont know how to do special moves. please tell me.

  • Agree. MSH is much better with the 4mb ram cart. Too bad X-men: Children of the Atom and Vampire Hunter (Night Warriors) were not compatible with it. The cartridge came out much later.

  • how do you use special attacks in the game i have it but i dont know any good specials

  • They're all done the same way; do a fireball motion but use all three punch buttons.

  • "One for JJ!" ☺

  • dont know how you got that problem guys,i have a model 1 saturn,i have a jap version of this game, and it plays perfectly :S,the ram option only adds more animation,it doesnt do anything for the loading

  • can you post a video of the gameplay on your model 1 system? I wanna see if there is any difference between my version.

  • TeamAndromeda-I just bought a copy of this game for my Saturn. I'm having serious problems with it. The opening cinema with the characters flying through the air in fighting poses may or may not play. I have to push the start button really hard to get anything to load at all, and when it finally does load, the menu screen is super slow, character selection is super slow, loading the scene is super slow, and gameplay is so slow as to be literally unplayable.

  • I have roughly fifty games for the Saturn and this is the only one that does this. Man why couldn't it have been some crappy game? But no, it just has to be the rarest of Capcom's fighting games released in the US. Anyway, I once read that Saturn model 1 has a better disc drive than the one I have (model 2). I'm just wondering if you know if that's true. The disc had some minor scratches on it, but I used a disc-repair device, which had no effect one way or the other.

  • My Megaman 8 does that on one of the FMVs. Upon inspection I found there was some top damage, not serious, just a few specs. The rest of the game plays fine it's just that one FMV. The Saturn drive is very versatile in this situation. So I would say check your disc for top damage and be sure that's not the issue. It could just be a few specs of top damage giving it trouble. Also if you are using the RAM cart that could be causing it, it adds more frames of animation but slows it down a bit.

  • I don't have the 4MEG RAM cart if that's the one you mean. I do have the official Sega Saturn Backup cart for save files. I removed it and tried the game. I thought I saw it speed up slightly, but I must have been just hoping too much because it unfortunately didn't make much of a difference. I looked at the top side of the disc, but it's not easy to see any small bits of damage due to the blue printing on it. There are a few fingerprints on the top from the previous owner, though.

  • Hold it up to the light and see if you can see any light coming through it. And yes having the 4mb RAM cart in will make it slow down because it adds more frames of animation.

  • I bought the american version of this game and it is so slow. It's only fast when picking two of the smallest characters for example, wolverine vs. spiderman. If I were to pick any two larger characters, omg, the gameplay slows to a crawl. The reason I bought this game was that a review in gamepro magazine said that this version was fast and superior to the psone version. Superior my ass. It's so slow. I have a model 2 saturn, but I don't think that should matter. any thoughts?

  • It actually does matter. This game ran super fast on my model 1 saturn but was very choppy on my friend's model 2 saturn. The 4MB cartridge helps though (yes, it works even with the american version).

  • Thanks for the info!

  • with the 4mb cart, does it make msh arcade perfect graphic?

  • Unfortunately not. There are still quite a few missing frames of animation and the sprites are still smaller.

  • No but its a whole lot better than playing without one.

  • That's not true. I have both model one and model 2 saturns with this game and have tried it numerous times. There is absolutely NO difference between model one and two Saturns.

  • "Your mileage may vary."

You can't tell me that there's no difference when I know for a fact that on MY machines there was a clear difference, and my experience was far from unique. Just because it didn't happen with yours doesn't mean it never happens (and vice-versa). Then again, I think it's more likely that you just didn't notice.

  • Dud this is one of my favourite games i play it all the time. So if something like that happened i would notice. Even after reading your comments i re-checked several times and there is absolutely no difference. Its probably your RAM cartridge slot. Those slots have been known to be very flimsy. Especially with MSH. The model of your console is not to blame. It's your cart slot.

  • The ram slot is to blame? That's interesting, considering that the problem occurred with no card in the slot. The issue I brought up is quite well known, and clearly you don't know what you're talking about. I'll say it once again; YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY.

  • Well I assumed you had a RAM cart if you didn't then I'll admit I don't know what it is the causing of the slow down but its definitley got nothing to do with the console models. Like i said i have both and have noticed absolutely NO difference. I also went on to sega saturn website and told them what you claimed and the majority had never heard of any such problem between model 1 and 2 saturns so I can't be the only one.

  • I have to say after finding out your not using the ram cart I'm shocked. You should consider playing this game WITH the ram cart it makes so much more difference than without one. Maybe that was your problem then. No Ram. Get a ram cart. They go for cheap these days

  • I hope your playing it with the 4 meg cart

  • dude awsome vid I was waiting for this!!! do you think you could tell me how to do chaos dimension with shuma-gorath?

  • Way Past Cool Dude
