Do more dancing! Tricks, lifts and turns are fine but shouldn't be so many that they over power the dance. Work on technique more -- clean, smooth movements well executed. Fast music sometimes makes one sloppy. Better to concentrate on "controlled" moves as opposed to dancing so fast. You should ALWAYS connect with your partner and your music. Keep practicing. You'll definitely get better and better at it.

Mexicans know as much about salsa as other latinos - not all mexicans are from the countryside or dance quebradita. Anyway these guys can dance well-they have obviously rehearsed their moves for a long time - but not very sensual - don't seem to feel the music or each other - like they want to hurry through it
