@Baritone45 Honestly, that's why I ended up quitting after I marched this song. You work 20 hrs a week for 1 hr of credit, not to mention it takes a huge hit on your sleep and thus studying. Very few people have time to stick with this boot camp for 4 yrs
man, 350 members?! I would lose all sense of individuality...im happy with my like 180 member group....but damn you guys sound good, very impressive blend and togetherness for such a MASSIVE group...although I did hear a trumpet come in early haha...good show, Good band, no doubt about it.
Does anyone know if the U of Illinois band is traveling to Ford Field this season for the game against Western Michigan. i'm in the WMU band and am a fan of this band. it would be cool to have two great bands there.

I agree this show was one of the most fun to perform (saxophone!). Thanks for posting it, despite this 6 year old conversation going on here. And just as a quick aside, when initially receiving all my stuff and signing in on that first day, I remember finding out a significant number (almost majority) of the band was in the UIUC engineering program... I just wish you could read comments more about the band and performance, but oh well. The video is what counts.
