@97273998 Actually, it won't. I've seen some studies and some experts saying that only about 3% of CO2 that goes to the atmosphere is actually from humans. The other 97% is any other source from nature.

So, IF this is true, cutting your poluitions won't make a damn difference.

I'm not a troll, so I'll give you my opinion on it.

If you really want to "save" the environment (in case it's actually damaged), BUY PAPER. If you buy paper, industries will have to plant more trees. Trees = Oxygen

Besides, CO2 is not the only greenhouse gas. Methane has far more effective as a greenhouse gas, and we're producing vast amounts of that (via mass produced farm animals such as cows).

Besides, we're running out of fossile fuels etc, so being eco friendly is a wise move, regardless of whether or not we're causing global warming.

Yes, it's very true that methane is more effective than CO2.

But being eco friend doesn't really mean you have to do stupid stuff that is not helping the environment. Just because it "feels good" it doesn't mean it is good.

And... I think industries do plant more trees than they cut.

At least in Portugal (where I'm living) there are more trees thanks to the paper industrie.

Turning off the lights every fucking time if it's sun time, even if you prefer electricity rather then sun light. Using public transportation even if your school/work is far, far away (in another galaxy).

Reducing shower time isn't meant to save water, it saves electricity (how do you think your shower is run?).

Likewise, bulbs waste a hell of a lot of electrcity (unless they're environmentally friendly ones). Both of these reduce the amount of elecricity you consume = less fossil fuels used = less killing the planet.

And public transport reduces the amount of fuel per person, again = less fossil fuels used.

But people are selfish and lazy, and they think there's no point if everyone else isn't caring, so they don't bother doing anything.
