Well.. I totally don't ship them in TOS and I don't think that Abrams has made the right choice with putting them together but that said: THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME! With only one movie you managed to not repeat always the same clips in a boring way, not at all! This is superawesome and get a lot of brownie points for me :) Also it's very sweet and... well you managed to make an emotional response out of me ;)

MDV, I've watched your video (at least twice) everyday for the past few weeks! How can anyone disagree with Spock and Uhura as mates- they are complementary colors! I can not imagine how he would have survived the loss of his mother and planet without Uhura- it's just too unimaginable. Your music choice and editing have captured a mood that resonate with the depth and compassion of their bond. Spock lost much but he would be a poorer man indeed without his Uhura. I'm a Trekkie fan, and I'll tell you who came up with the Spock/Uhura thing....the old folgies from the original 1960s show.

Yeah, I know it's a shock but it's surprisingly true (and frankly, I love it). Unfortunately, the execs decided to make Cpt. Kirk the STAR and Spock the sidekick (by the end of the show). And everybody was turned into wallpaper....thanks to Shatner's overacting and potbelly tirades, audiences were left to contend with weekly adventures Cpt. Dough-boy.
