Not possible, and I am a HUGE Tar Heel fan and watched Tyler play throughout his college career. He isn't atheletic enough to come even close to averaging 20 PPG, he isn't quick enough to create his own shot, and if he tries going inside with that off balance BS he got away with in college it'll get sent into the 5th row in the NBA. Tyler will always be a 6th or 7th man off the bench, which is befitting a guy of his caliber...GREAT college player, average NBA'er

If you are such a huge Tyler and UNC fan you SHOULD have noticed that his athletic ability as determined by the NBA combine was actually better than Blake Griffin. Tyler doesnt move well laterally but how many big men do? He can shoot and he has a whole facet of moves. He is averaging 8 ppg right now and he has been hurt! and thats as a rookie. Stop listening to analyst and see his potential. Bird didnt draft him that high to be "average"

Scoring points isn't all about athletic ability. He's in the league, everyone is a freak to some degree. It's about basketball smarts. He's got plenty of that. Physically, he's very very strong, AND he's got a mean motor.

Averaging 20 ppg is actually no average feat; with that kind of output you'd be better than a lot of veteran starters in the NBA.

To be honest, if Hansbrough can keep a 12-13 ppg average even if he's coming off the bench, I'd say that's already quite a feat.
