I have always loved this band. But to see these peope so involved in such an important and loving cause is a gift from God. I have a grey that I adopted in California. He really is the perfect pet! Keep fighting the good fight and God bless you for all your efforts. Best!

WOW, cool to see that. We were part of the first try of this over here in Auckland at the Vector arena. Our greyhound Ronin, along with about 9 others from NZ GAP(greyhounds as pets) were approached by crowded house to do the same thing at their 28th October show. I hope you all had as much fun as we did, and were looked after just as well. looks like a great time was had by all!

This is a wonderful great idea!!! Thank you to Crowded House all all people involved in this action! Huge amounts of Greys, Galgos, Podencos, Whippets, etc. are suffering from bad fortune and need our help! I wish that more popular people would use their reputation to make the world aware!

I have also been adopted by a female greyhound in Spain. She is really The Perfect Pet. Thanks to Crowded House. I loved them so many years ago and now much more. Greyhounds are really special.

I think it is fantastic having the greyhound awareness event at the crowed house concert. I absuloutly love them, I have one of my our which I adopted from The Greyhound Adoption Program of Victoria. The are such wonderful placid creatures that just a need a nice home to retier in after their racing career.

As is obvious by my user name, I am one possessed by greyhounds (only have five, tho). I think it was wonderful that the band sponsered a greyhound awareness spot. I can homestly say that until you are "adopted" by a greyhound, you can't enjoy life as much as one with a greyhound!

I know here in the UK a lot of work is underway to save these beautiful animals. Recently a local man was jailed for destroying literally thousand of dogs and burying them on his land (and being paid to do so). We need to ensure that there IS a life for them after racing and anything that my most favourite band in the world can do to help is most welcomed and admired. Fabulous video. Thank you.

Alas, this odious specimen wasn't jailed - he got fined a couple of thousand pounds, not for killing thousands of healthy young greyhounds (which, believe it or not is perfectly legal in the UK)but for burying them in his back yard (now, that is illegal!).

I'm "owned" by 3 retired racing Greyhounds and have had two who already passed on. They are the best breed EVER and I will always have one. GREYT idea for a meet & greet!! Sure hope a lot of adoptions come from it. BTW, one of my hounds is the son of Australia's champion Brett Lee and he looks exactly like his father!!
