@nightprowler07 I don't have the project file anymore so I can't check, but if I remember correctly most of the sounds are either part of Reason's soundbank or it's Orkester and Strings ReFills. So if you're not using Reason you won't be able to get them.
@SockpuppetRemix That's all right. I was pretty impressed with the realistic sound. I myself arrange video game music for full orchestra and I use Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 library. Have you heard of it?
I've got a remix of that already. However it's really crap so I'm going to do another one, along with EVERY SONG from DKC2. I forgot to announce that again, I should hurry up and make a vid for it...
You should try F-Zero for the SNES or F-Zero X. Those two are the only good ones. They also have the best music! There's tons of music videos on YouTube.
I know, but there's a BIG difference between playing a game and hearing the music elsewhere. If I've actually played the game and enjoyed the music it makes things a lot easier.
I'm not saying F-Zero music is bad, but the few songs I've heard just don't stand out as much as music from Donkey Kong Country, Mario games etc. I do enjoy Mute City and Climb up, Get the Last Chance, but that's pretty much it.
I don't know how much it costs, but you can probably find that out yourself by searching.
It's hard to figure it out yourself, but there's probably some good tutorials on the net somewhere.
Automatically remixing songs is both impossible and cheating. Unless you're talking about importing and assigning instruments to MIDIs. If so, yes it can do that, but it's still cheating.
Aww... Oh well. At least I still have all of the compositions of songs cut from Super Smash Bros. They were cut from the game, but there's many things you can find amidst all of the unused data on a disc. I might upload some. Among these are...
Eight Melodies - Earthbound (Should have been credits)
Stunt Race FX (good.)
Ballad of the Windfish - Zelda II
I was about to say something, but I stopped myself.
Anyways, if a program wasn't remixing the songs, then how did you do it?
i would download it, but when i try, it won't let me download all of the song. that's when in the next video that i will upload isn't all disco train remix.
Damn... how many times did you try? Sometimes it works if you try again. Otherwise I can try a different site. I'd send it too you but it's too big. =(
Unless it's the Disco Train remix you want. I can email that to you.
I did have it in at first, it came right after Kirby's Dreamland Title, and then went straight into Tal Tal Heights, but I couldn't work out the chords and it sounded bad. So I replaced it with Dragon Roost because it kind of reminds me of PD for some reason. Then after that and Disco Train I put the G/S Game Corner in because it sounds VERY similar, and I could therefore continue with the plan I originally had.
Sorry I couldn't put it in, but that's the reason.
thankss for rate mi edition n_n gonna take serious your points to be better the next time!.. also i choise this instruments olny for can made a cover with my friends some day =)... and we dont have a bass guy XD is tha reazon for the boring bass here... my apologies if i write a bad english, im from mexico

Unfortunately it's not free. Actually I'm pretty sure it's really expensive. My brother gave it to me so I'm not sure how much it is.
Reason is kind of known as a complicated program compared to others, but once you learn the basics it's not that hard (imo).
Other programs I've heard of, but haven't tried, are Fruity Loops, Cubase and Finale. I don't think any of them are free though. If you want a GOOD music program, you've gotta pay for it. =(
Astonishing! All the tracks blend together so seamlessly. None of the transitions seem forced. Not even the wildly different ones like Crateria and S.S. Anne.
A bit muddy, the strings are probably the culprit there. You should probably EQ the tracks to make sure they don't bleed into each others' frequency ranges. I recommend using another reverb next time you remix, this one isn't good.. Nice choice of songs, and nice transitions (esp. the one into Luigi's Mansion). Nice work.
Awesome job!
What orchestra patch did you use?

@vhayes8886 Hm, it does sounds a bit like Tetris! :D They're both part of Tal Tal Heights though. The first bit uses G/S's game corner's backing.

Kirby's Dreamland title theme. I think it was in Superstar too, and it was mixed into the SSBB version of Butter Building.

Reason 4. It's a computer program. =)

WHAT PROGRAM!? I MUST KNOW!!! Or you could do a medley with music from ONLY F-Zero for SNES and F-Zero X. Either one's good.
8MKWeb8 2 years ago
I already said which program. It's called Reason 4.
As for an F-Zero medley, I hardly played any of the games, and it's really hard to remix something unless I know the source(s) well. Sorry.
