Yeah discovery mod is great. You can fly cap-ships and hundreds of more crafts. However discovery has one serious flaw which i hate MUCH:

The official server has idiotic rules that are forcing players to play stupid role-playing. You can't just fly around and shoot with friends - you have to be acting a real space wolf.

For a question like "What's the best ship?" on the chat you can be kicked from server -_-

2:instal it and click "join an existing network"

3:join ONE of those servers:

4:FL host must be online so that the game will work

5:enter the game and go to multiplayer,u should see the game now

The global server's been pulled, but you can connect to a server if you know the IP adress, in the Freelancer folder, go to EXE folder, then fldirectip.exe and it's all there ^_^

I have'nt found it yet, and I've been playing for 3 years. If you're not useing mods then the best you can gt is the Advanced Brigadine positron, I don't even think you can get the Adv Champ- just like class-10 turrets and CSV's.

I'm still looking for them, I will post if I find. Please try to do the same, I want that shield it would own =)

yeah, the NPC's have it and the only way I can get it is if I use a mod that lets NPCs drop shields and stuff, and there are NO class-10 turrets so far.

also, there is NOTHING in the Unknown 1 system (the pink one, if you've found it) except the OmicronAlpha jump hole and the star.

And a shitpot of nomads...

if you find anything in that system, or a class 10 turret, PLEASE POST I will give you a cookie if you do =)

Unknown 2 is weird though first of all it's HUGE what is with the lone star at the far end of the system(off the map!) and the two planets,Gammu and Primus one inahbited by robots and the other by monkeys!? What is up with that? some game designer must have been having some fun or was on crack lol u can't even buy anything on the planets.

I think its just a spot to repair your ship when hunting nomad weps, it sure beats hauling it back Crete... and I was talking about Unknown 1, the one in omicron alpha, not the one in gamma. Also, I will go to the far star in Unknown2 today and look around, maybe i will find a wreck with an adv. champ?
