@restrada90 the live version was the only version i had ever heard until now. this is better. it puts it in context. its fucking great. i'm not a big fan of polish and production. so this experimental raw stuff just does it for me. i'm 43 and i wasn't always a doors fan. i have been for 20 years. i revisit once in a while and i always find something amazing. i've said and i still say the doors were the first punk group. its not rockabilly based but its still punk. honest. flawed. real.

If anybody ever gets the chance listen to this song live on the box set. It's a little bit shorter than this studio version but just as good. It sucks it never actually got on one of their albums, it was a killer song! So intense and random, a lot like Tool is today.
