  • Very nice, I'm only 18 years old but I appreciate a piece of good music from the 'oldies'.

  • EXCELLENT MATE

  • Nice work.

Music has to be played. It just keeps on moving and growing. You keep the songs alive. Live music is the best. It's wonderful to listen to history on old records but you make Buddy Holly's recipe into a living, real music experience once again.

Great job. I bet your show is a lot of fun.

    Thanks.

  • Don't listen to the trolls. We all know there was only one Buddy Holly, but you did a great rendition of Doesn't Matter Anymore. Definitely a thumbs up from me!

  • @Orangetree547 Thank you, Orangetree. Yes I don't expect to be Buddy Holly reincarnated, but I also know I'm not "dreadful". Also, this was only my 2nd show and I've gotten much better in the 3½ years since. I can take criticism (that's why I post all comments unless there are obscene words) but tell me what needs improving! Otherwise, it's just a bunch of hot air. :)

  • Dreadful

  • @numbskullandy Nice try, troll.

  • Doesn't sound like BH at all, but thanks for the memory.

  • @JPRichardson lol, I know it at least sounds something like him, but thanks for the criticism anyhow, I guess.

  • This Buddy Holly classic was originally composed by teen idol Paul Anka. It's true.

  • LOVE IT!

  • Good Job

  • That was sweet! :D awesomeness!

  • NOT BUDDY BUT, IT WAS GOOD..

  • wow, this sounds so much like buddy!

  • Robert, you are a great performancer, there are few people, who can play like original stars, and You are one of them!

  • There's still some great music out there, but unfortunately it doesn't hit the mainstream anymore.

  • I would say music died post 1965!

  • Thanks, funnymoney50, I may indeed try to take it on the road. Thanks for the nice comments!

  • Great voice. I like how it strengthens and softens, a lot like Buddy's. I'd pay to see you if you were in Michigan. Good luck.

  • Thank you very much, nkerio! If I ever take it on the road then maybe I'll make it out there. :)

  • Thanks Rob you do an awesome job mate. Its a classic song and my favourite Buddy hit.

  • Thanks, mastersv8! It's one of my favourites as well.

  • Absolutely amazing cover version of this classic. My hat's off to you (though I don't wear hats). Unbelievable, dead-on impression of Holly. You have real talent and should be doing your own thing.

  • Thanks so much for the kind words, fazbell! I am currently working on an album of original material, some of which I will present on here when it's ready.

  • Actually, it was recorded a few months before his death, but was indeed released not too long before he died (less than a month).
