  • 2:39 Ballbreaking!

  • Well it's obvious where Burton C. Bell got his influence from.

  • @charvelgtrs Man, aint that the truth. I never made that connection til now.

  • @Pakanahymni \m/ ;)

  • This album was the soundtrack to my life in 1992.

    \m/ \m/

  • I wonder if Frank Klepacki listened to a lot of Godflesh when making the music for Tiberian Sun.

  • Sorry to be petty but this was released November 13, 1989 not 1990

  • Saw them live with Napalm Death and Sepultura ages ago.

  • @sqrlcub so did I - I got a Avalanche tour shirt...

  • I have been listening to this album all week, after not even thinking about Godflesh for nigh on 20 years. This still sounds so freakin' good!

  • I'm not high as shit-(kinda wish i was) and this is fucking amazing!! Must mean good things eh!!

  • @27mazzystar

yeah im sober as shit right now and this is still fuckin amazing, Godflesh is always sick no matter what drugs are in your brain!!

  • high as shit and this is fuckin amazing.

  • Probably one of my most favorite songs by Godflesh. Those piercing sounds and the album cover really make it disturbing and it doesn't need a video of a pig's head on top of a spinning stick for that effect.

  • @venusfly9108 Okay you know what? I love The Flesh and NIN. Both are great. NIN's nowhere as heavy and gritty as some Industrial Metal like Minstry and what not. But Trent never tried to be. He looked to create a more emotionally accessible type of Industrial.

  • @spawn22222 i agree, i love nine inch nails, but it is definately not thi heavy, but that is not necessarily a bad think. NIN was more apatheticall or depressingly machine like sounding. this is a sound i feel more as despair doom, while Nine Inch Nails may have conveyed more of a sence of decadence and and, insanity. you have to apreciate diversity, and im glad to see someone else does.

  • @bejamjam Like wise. I couldn't have said that better myself.

  • This song always makes me think of the movie the Thing and the game Syphon Filter, I have no Idea why.

  • @meshuggah2727 The original the Thing or the remake?

  • @Hefewyify The remake

  • @meshuggah2727 Yeah I kinda agree with that now that I think of it lol

  • @Hefewyify It must be the atmosphere

  • @meshuggah2727 Yeah, for me I think the electronic sounding drums help with that

  • @Hefewyify the bassline does too

  • @meshuggah2727 SYPHON FILTER! :D

  • @Nebontha Now thats something I haven't heard in ages. Syphon Filter... had that game for a little while on my playstation. Didn't finish it.

  • Boże ciało!

  • Lemmy said it best "I hate fucking labels"... Quit wasting the time & energy of debating what this is & simply enjoy it people. This album is a gem & was far ahead of it's time for 1989... Opened a lot of creative doors for me & entertains me to this day with it's dark, powerful, atmospheric, abrasive & hypnotic qualities. Thanks for posting!

  • @jamesabilly fuck yeah

  • justin has spent his whole career ripping off murrlin manson LeeHarveyOsmond age 19 ,he from lastFM

and he said that. You Fucken Wish

  • Things are simple, Broadrick is just a genius

  • The Beatles? Frank Sinatra? Mozart? LMAO. Godflesh -l-

  • @Dekrapitator666

Don't fucking make fun of mozart dude. gotta give respect to classical ignorant mister. helped make future good music like rock and/or metal that you are listening to right now.

  • brilliant!!! UK metal musicians are the shit

a great psychopathic track and a perfect cure for deranged individuals\m/

  • this was highschool for me.

  • the Joy Division of Grindcore

  • @cromlek this isn't grindcore, it's industrial metal

  • @AnimaisMecanicos oh, fuck off you pedantic little twat. When i was 14 and this came out it was on a label called Earache that dealt exclusively in grindcore and death metal. I dont care what you wanna call it now, but this was, and as far as im concerned, still is grindcore.>>> Industrial Metal? Man, no one called anything that until losers like Fear Factory turned up on the scene. And what does a fuckin tag on a sound mean anyway? Its all music and its either good or bad..

  • @cromlek

Not to be a spoil sport, but even Earache labels them Industrial. And the industrial scene was around long before Fear Factory, check out bands like Ministry and early Pitchshifter. Fear Factory simply brought it more into the mainstream.

  • @CallumDickson666 no spoilsport, i know...i was there. Its just music. Sorry for the name calling. Im usually pretty chill on teh webs. Ignore me please. Id like to think humanity can elevate itself above a base level most of the time. Industrial? >>> check Throbbing Gristle = They invented it. >>> Skinny Puppy also were the shit >>> Same with COIL.(possibly the greatest band ever)

  • @CallumDickson666 godflesh were around long before pitchshifter. Ministry, whatever," The Mind IS A Terrible Thing To Taste" was decent, a couple of psalm songs..............jorgensen was as derivatrive and unimaginitive as that resznor fuck. Industrial (true industrial) is very much english euro and canada.

  • @cromlek Hey man you got to admit, The Land of Rape and Honey was just as good as TMIATTTT, if not better.

  • @cromlek that reznor fuck! quote of the year mate, he is overated.

  • @cromlek youu could call this death metal but not grind...grinds defining point is speed

  • @chrisold97 death metal is largely defined by lyrics, blastbeats and riffs...NOTHING on Streetcleaner, or any other of Justins projects is akin to DeathMetal, except maybe a couple of tracks he played on the first Scorn release. This aint death metal, and not that it matters cos i couldnt give a fuck about what some spotty kids rekons went down back when they were still shitting their pants on a daily basis. Whatever man, if you say its deathmetal then its deathmetal, but i also say youre a Tard

  • @cromlek Actually man, that was a bit harsh and largelt uncalled for. Funny thing drinking booze and listen to youtube tracks...easy to get offensive. And i see yer actually just a bit younger then me so, hey. Peace man. ( i still say its Grind) Lets ask Justin, he will probly reply "Its just music"? or 'its Godflesh"?

  • @cromlek heres the deal...whatever you want to call this its a steamroller....destroys everything in its path like good grindcore, deathmetal, real industrial, whatever. my only point was my understanding of the definitions of styles was that grind was defined by speed and blastbeats, and that death metal was more widereaching and could include elements of sludginess, industrial, and grind

  • @chrisold97

Digby Pearson considers them grind. He makes this claim based on the grinding guitar tone, which he believes defines grind more than the speed

  • @simony999 ill just stick with it being massive and sick...it was probably the most disturbing track on grindcrusher when i first heard it years back

  • I can't believe this is from 1990. Way ahead of its time <3

  • still heavy 20 years later. thanks

  • Pure amazing, seriously, music just inst like this anymore

  • 5 years back I listened to this... didnt like it... I listened to it now and I find it difficult to stop listening to Godflesh...I have evolved!!!

  • Is it just me or does the Streetcleaner album have the most darkest and morbid sound out of all the albums? This is one of the best albums out there, Godflesh kick ass

  • Don't hold me back, This is my own hell

Christbait, Slugbait, Rise and bring you down

Christbait Rising, In your own mind

    Christbait Rising, Bleed dry mankind

  • CHRISTBAIT... SLUGBAIT

  • the breakdown riff at 2:40 is still as heavy as fuck

  • where's my tea? it's in hell

  • @thursfield3107 ..O_o

  • again, killer!

  • Because of the delay in the vocals, you can take either the first or delayed vocal of each word, and it's still in time with the song. Genius!

  • @zombiegod yeah, funny that.

  • @zombiegod JS Clayden thinks you're a "Clump".

  • 'Welcome to hell' was what I thought the first time I heard this.

  • @Thewonkandfriends Really i thought about psychotic impulses and murdering those who betrayed or made fun of me in my life.

  • bleed dry mankind
