  • Now, with this, are treats alright to train with? Or should I stay away from that?

Im already familiar with training to bow, but not lying down or sitting.

And If I want the horse to be able to do each individual trick ( bowing, lying down, and sitting) separately, How can I avoid confusion? Do you use specific cues for each movement?

  • think I should try this w/dogs

  • my horse i way to big for me so that i could do that .....

  • "Alright daddy, what do you want, up or down?" lol She is a sweetheart. Good video.

This must be much easier with a short horse that you can reach over the top of easily.

  • she is so cute

  • It look so simple when you doing it, did it take a long time to learn the horse that?

  • Thank you Josh. Wonderfuly clear instruction. I apreciate that the mare doesn't seem stressed at all. Blessings to you :)

  • Once they know the exercise and learned it through repetition you can start to "move" your cue. Josh uses the front of the leg, you could then start by tapping the front of the shoulder as a "pre-cue" this way you could make him lay down from the saddle eventually.

  • how do you make a horse sit

  • your really are good! would love to if you could make a video when you show how you teach the horse to do the tricks in command?

  • Once you've taught them how to lay down how do you teach them to do it without aids (ie a rope around their leg?) Did you just tap her leg so she held it and then asked her to lay down?

  • Wow. very godd video. I wanna try with my horse and see if he can do this. But he is kinda stif :)

    Thank you for watching
