@ghchill hey thanks for ordering our duo record. It has Arkansas traveller, and you don' t know me, Django's Waltz and many others you will like, but this song isnt on it. I hope you don' tget disappointed. Rows is on "The Calling", which is my last solo cd. Its also not too bad.
Having lived in So. Ill. all my life I have been hearing Wil since the Shady Mix days. My daughter was a guest fiddler at one of her performances. Bravo!
Robert Bowlin is a Master of the Guitar; probably the fiddle and mandolin as well.Wil Maring, well, you have to see her live and your life will be changed.
And has anyone noticed that whoever Robert Bowlin plays alongside, whenever he starts playing he brings an impossible smile to their faces? He is just a star
I hope you are not offended by this, but this song is as good as any song on REVIVAL, by Gillian Welch. I am a huge Americana fan, and your voice is ... moving to me. Brad Davis is a very good flat-picker, and a whole lot cleaner in attack than David Rawlings. I love the simplicity of the sound, but, then again, you had me at "two guitars, one girl with lovely voice, singing."
I love the feel of this video. The three of you sitting together like you would in your living room is just charming! The mix is fantastic too. I feel like I am sitting here with you! The song is top shelf too! GREAT JOB Wil!!
LOve it, tasteful, beautiful performance from each of you. All the best in your careers. Don't forget about Louisiana, we can use some of that sunshine that your music spreads. You're great. (and we got gators too :!)
Wil, what a great talent. I was fortunate enough to see you guys at Dee and Randy's house concert this past Friday, 8/22/08. Then the jam session that moved inside the house. Breathtaking. I'm hooked! I got The Calling CD. Can't stop listening to it! Wish I had known at the time that you wrote most of those songs. I'm going to e-mail my local country radio stations and request your music.
In the mean time, I'm heading to your web site and ordering more great music!!!!!!
yeah, we are wanting to come again next February, if we can get the gigs. Do you have any suggestions? I wanna see an alligator. We don't have those up in Illinois.
actually, i can give a little advice about that....or, well at least suggest a couple of venues.....i would love to help any way i can.....please feel free to email me.... clb.fmb239@yahoo there a a few festivals in the northern part of the state..eh..no aligators there though....a great venue in south st pete called Janus Landing....one of my favorite urban (but still out door) venues this side of Boulder....my name is chris and i would love to help any way i can....thanks
the everglades are good for that, just a tip though, folk music doesn't stop an alligator from eating you :]. do you ever go to the walnut festival, i live in Florida but i always go up to Winfield, and it would be nice to see you live, ill try to stop by in Feb if your coming here, my birthday in on Feb 22nd, hopefully your playing around then.
Saw Wil and Brad play in springfield, IL. It was really good, would have came, but I worked late. :( AT LEAST I CAUGHT IT ON TV! You guys were awesome. Hope you come back to the springpatch soon!
Wil, This song, as many others that you do, voices and accoustics are so nicely done and so enjoyable to listen to. Thanks for sharing these songs with us. Aspenglow Always! TB
Wow, I happened by this site while looking for someone else now I'm hooked on her. Sounds great I'm going to listen to more and figure out who you are. Thanks a bunch
I really enjoyed your songs. I wish you guys would come to Winfield for the Walnut Valley Festival. I think people would love your music. Hope to see you there.
Wil, you have joined the ranks of the beautiful people that take music to another level. God bless and good luck in your future adventures. P.S. robert just keeps gettin' better.
I really liked this one. Wil, you are truly a talented lady and the others seem to enjoy what you write as well. They are very talented and dedicated to their craft. Very clean music. Thank you and God Bless.
Very lovely song. Reminds me of the great tunes my parents used to play in the car when we were kids -- the kind of stuff that made me just think and feel like life was ok, no matter what.
Thank You for sharing this. Makes me cry with joy for the talent the 3 of you share with the world.
