Ok, I'd just like to point something out. The only, only, ONLY reason Sasuke managed to beat Naruto is that Naruto still considered Sasuke his best friend. Therefore, he held back against him whilst Sasuke had no such qualms. If Naruto went through with it and hit Sasuke with the Oodama Rasengan, Itachi and Madara would be the only Uchiha left.

Naruto would have won...but he hit Sasuke's headband instead of attacking him directly. If naruto would have hit his body then he would have owned sasuke. He hit his headband because sasuke said that naruto wouldn't even scratch his forehead. I didn't get how a vermillion rasengan only scratched his headband instead of obliterating it...but i guess it worked for the story.
