Two very great singers in this duet. Mehdi sang perfectly, but lata had a higher range and equally good control. Mehdi did not have range and could not sing songs like o dunya key rakhwaley, too ganga ki mauj, insaf ka mandir hay yay, and many of rafi songs. The three highest range singers were noor jahan, rafi and ustad nusrat fateh ali. Unfortunately nusrat damaged his voice and lost it's romantic nature. Noor jahan is the best singer of all times, and if u do not agree then please listen to

You can't simply make a list of the greatest singers of the subcontinent, many great singers have come out of the subcontinent all equally brilliant in their own way.

There are singers you have listed, and other singers like:

Classical maestros- Ustd Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustd Salamat Ali Khan, Pt Bhimen Joshi, Ustd Amir Khan...

Lighter music singers- Fareeda Khanum, Ghulam Ali, Begum Akhtar, Ustd Barkat Ali Khan etc

It was recorded in parts. Khan Sb. recorded his lines in 2009 while Lata ji sang her lines in 2010 then both parts were mixed together. It was finally released in Oct-2010 in the album named "Sarhadain"

Ek ajeeb Se darr hain pakistan ke liye logo ke jehan me Ki Koi Hindu waha jaa hi nahi sakta. mujhe hamesha feel hota h mera pichla janm waha hi hua tha

But M life me Ek Baar jaroor aauga. Now i am only 21yrs old engineer. I love pakistani songs and "Drama: Jis Lahore nahi dekhya woh jamaya hi nahi"
