Disagree, if you have any sort of accident or drop your helmet or otherwise have some damage risk, get rid of it. Slash off the fasteners, get rid of it. You can't know for sure whether some damage has been caused internally or not.

Its worse than that, you put the helmet on your mirror and it falls off and hits the asphalt and a little rock punctures the shell, you might as well trash it too. Sell it to someone who will use it for auto-x or something since the foam is fine, but don't put that thing back on your head for riding.

If you don't think your brain is worth $250, it probably isn't and you shouldn't wear a helmet at all (and be sure not to reproduce in advance please). ;)

Unsure if you're making some sort of a terrible joke, but when he says 'dropped' he means the bike dropped i.e. the biker fell off.
