Its a disgrace that anyone has to go through this. I would have sued immediately and asked for heavy punitive damages. Contact a local attorney just in case United gives you any more problems and be ready to sue for breach of contract, etc. etc.
Go, Isabella, go and God did the right thing when he placed her in your care. This is what parents do. I'm in awe of hat you've managed to achieve using the internet as a medium to get your story out and glad you recieved the recourse you sought.
Best wishes to all of you and well done! If you're ever in the Atlanta area, I'd love to take Miss Isabella out with my kids and grab an ice cream cone. Something tells me that would be a most awesome sight to behold!
I don't really know the story behind Isabella's condition and struggles but she is in my thoughts & prayers. She is a precious little girl with such beautiful curly hair!
The Internet is such a useful tool in situations like this. 20 years ago and you'd be out of luck. UHC needs to have a positive reflection in all avenues otherwise big business refuses to use UHC's services. I am so glad that you were able to reverse the tables on UHC. I no longer work for the "Devil" but keep my eyes open for others that do not know "how to play the game". Good luck with the treatment and your daughter should keep smiling, it got me here.
I agree totally quixote0. As a former employee also I knew if they kept fighting, they would win. If you ride the Care Coordination department's back long enough, they'll eventually fold. Kudos to the Griggs!!
yea u are amazing ppl we can make a difference!!! i<3 u all who helped i dont know her but my friend during school prayed 4 her and it worked i hope the will find a way to make her eat like a normal kid god bless her!!(P.S i cryed in the 1st video!!) good luck issabella
Way to go! This is the example we should all look to in order to win single-payer health care. No one should have to beg or put so much effort into receiving health care; it's a human right.
Yay, we are hoping for the same! See Yaacob's story on youtube by searching Yaacob, KKI, BCBS
