I have sensetive skin some of the time and I had to change foundations when my skin was irritated because it made it worse, but when it's not I love it!

It works well for me. Just make sure you use a good amount of moisturizer and primer beforehand.

I have dry skin and used this foundation for a while, but I found that it really did not work well for me. It made my skin feel dryer, even when I used my regular moisturizer under it.

Yeah, it doesn't work at all for me.

When i'm spreading it it'll appear thicker in some areas on my face; and show super sheer (not covering) on other areas. It doesn't blend well at all for me.

Is the pressed powder cheaper than the liquid for you?? You're so lucky! They're usually 14-16 bucks in Canada and when they're on sale they're about $11.99. Personally I think you should try the liquid first ;) Then get the pressed powder if you really like the liquid. That's what I did :)

I also have the press one that you have. It looks great and it really blends with the skin tone but it doesn't last.... well, at least not to me. I was wondering if it last like a whole day or at least a couple hours for you? Mine just ware off like within an hour.

Hi there!

YES - that's actually a bit of a problem for me too... Sometimes I find myself having to bring the pressed powder out with me to touch-up in the bathroom during the day. BUT I do think wearing the liquid makeup underneath REALLY helps (w/ & a little concealer too). I can't help the fact that it's a such a perfect match to my skin tone though... Maybe some sort of primer might help?

Great review. :o) I'm from the UK and bought both the liquid foundation and pressed mineral powder foundations in the same shade as you when I visited NY, and now I won't use anything else. Everything you mentioned in your review is exactly what I have told others about these products, and they complement each other really well. I don't know if you're aware of the Trublend Microminerals that came out with this line... I recently purchased it but haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet. But I'll definitely do a review on it when get a chance to... Maybe then you can try that one out too :)

hey what does it mean to "set it in" like applying the powder? Do you have to do that? I'm a guy and trublend is amazing..and no one notices haha great review

Hey hun,

That's AWESOME! I'm glad that you love the product too! From what I know, "setting it in" is just to finish off the liquid makeup with a little powder to help/prevent it from melting off your face from sweat, etc during the day. It also gives it a more "matte" look if that's what you're going for :)

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, I was having some issues posting comments on Youtube.

To be honest, I haven't tried the Microminerals Foundation so I can't tell you which one you should get. However, it seems to have received some pretty good reviews on the Cover Girl website compared to the Liquid Makeup.

I think it really boils down to what kind of coverage you're trying to get and what kind of medium you prefer (liquid vs. powder).

Although, from what I've read on their website, neither of them are good in terms of coverage, so I would suggest using a concealer when necessary (which I sometimes HAVE to use anyway for those angry zits/pimples!). Anyway, I think the best way to go about finding the suitable one for you is to try them out at the drugstore :)
