Well the whole 800 power thing is just blatently wrong. Megaman only has about 12 games about him, the rest are all about other protagonists. Based on that megaman would only have around 50 powers as there are several double ups in the series. Even so i think samus would beat megaman. Now if she was fighting the superior megaman x, that might be a different story.

lol As much as I love Samus for the fact that she's awesome, has a darker storyline and is all around bad-ass, I too have to go with Megaman because of the fact that he can copy his enemies, he doesn't NEED a power suit because his body already IS one (though Samus is also awesome for that), and because Megaman can not only fend for himself against the most ridiculous odds, but because no matter who he's up against he find's a way to come out on top WITHOUT scanning for weaknesses, ect.

If both are fully powered? I'd say Samus. Massive energy tanks vs. Mega's small power bar. Resistance to things like Lava etc. Via gravity suit (Megaman has nothing like that.) Superspeed run, grappling beam, super missiles, power bombs etc. Screw jump etc. Yeah... Samus is winning.

I like both of them to be sure. But Mega's abilities just are nowhere near a fully powered Samus.

Megaman can only take weapons from his enemies from the power chips they drop, and he can only absorb them by defeating them. Samus's weapons are ACTUAL weapons she finds which can endlessly adapt to her suit, all of which the technology for is far more dangerous than Megaman's weaponry. I don't mean to start an argument, and honestly I like both these characters, and I think it would be a tie between the two. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. That's just my opinion. We all have a fav.

If we're talking fully powered Samus you can have Mega Man, Bass, Proto Man, X and Zero all together and they'd still have a very hard time winning. I guess with five of them they might have a chance, especially with good weaponry equipped. But none of them can take the amount of damage Samus can. None are as fast as Samus is. She has the screw jump, etc. Even with the five of them their chances drop if Samus manages to take one of them out, and that shouldn't be to hard for her.
