I sang Silent Night/Away in a Manger and let's put it this way people said I did a good job singing it, but they didn't think I was good at performing because I was looking at the manger (What I was supposed to do), but everyone told me I had to look at then and smile when I sing...so, they hated my solo.

Actually The "X" in Xmas wasn't meant to block out Christ's name. "X" is actually part of the Greek spelling of Christ, and it is supposed to be used as a symbol of Christ. I don't know who came up with the whole X-ing out Christ thing, but they were wrong.

Amen.....I go to the 12:00 mass every Christmas eve with my friends and family because its tradition.

But, people celebrate Christmas if they are different religion. Its about the birth of Jesus but, it is also about family and a time to get together. I do feel for your opinion and I understand....
