Personally i think that he's going to be ready and win this time and id like to see the stamina of Lesnar be tested instead of all these quick fights. one thing that most people do not understand is that there are both pros and cons for being a big guy . everyone says " wow , lesnars huge . he's gunna be hard to beat " . he may have a weight advantage , but he also has a weight disadvantage . if ur more slender then it is easier to slip out of subs , but if ur big then escaping subs can be hell .
Mir looks like he's in excellent shape for this fight, however Nog has been in there with the best of the best and has shown he can hang with anyone. Mir hasn't faced the type of competition Nog has, he's a great fighter no doubt but I think Nog will be too much for him. Nog has the best jiu jitsu of any heavyweight in the world. I'd say even better than Mir's. As far as Brock goes, he's a handful for anybody, but if Mir can submit him, Nog can. Brock better look for a KO if he meets Nog.

As for my predictions, I think Mir has a slight advantage on the feet (superior wrestling and punching power). While Nogueira has the advantage on the ground. But what I think people are forgetting is that both fighters of this calibur can end the fight from any position (though I don't see Nogueira getting submitted). Go Nog!

I love Nog, he's a great man, and an infamously talented HW in MMA, a legend. But Frank Mir deserved this win, and he went out there and DOMINATED Nog. Nog was completely outmatched. Mir's heart, intelligence, and preparation in this fight truly paid off, and give all he's been through, as a fan, I'm so proud of him!

People lets get some things straight. If Mir fights Lesnar again, Lesnar will destroy Mir. I like Mir and can not stand Lesnar but come on Mir got beat standing and on the ground. The ref stopped the fight for no reason from hits to the head which Mir turned into Lesnar hands. I just hope that when Nogueira beats Mir then fights Brock that he armbars Brock or some type of submission.

I believe a focused and well-prepared Mir will beat Lesnar, but I refuse to write off Lesnar as not that talented. He's a great wrestler and incredibly strong, and he's unbelievably fast for a guy his size.
I'm rooting for Mir, but Lesnar isn't a cupcake.

one thing that most people do not understand is that there are both pros and cons for being a big guy . everyone says " wow , lesnars huge . he's gunna be hard to beat " . he may have a weight advantage , but he also has a weight disadvantage . if ur more slender then it is easier to slip out of subs , but if ur big then escaping subs can be hell .

Mir looks like he's in excellent shape for this fight, however Nog has been in there with the best of the best and has shown he can hang with anyone. Mir hasn't faced the type of competition Nog has, he's a great fighter no doubt but I think Nog will be too much for him. Nog has the best jiu jitsu of any heavyweight in the world. I'd say even better than Mir's. As far as Brock goes, he's a handful for anybody, but if Mir can submit him, Nog can. Brock better look for a KO if he meets Nog.

On the Nogueira vs Mir fight:
First off, I would like to say how excited I am for this fight. These are two veterans of MMA and should end up putting on a great show. As for my predictions, I think Mir has a slight advantage on the feet (superior wrestling and punching power). While Nogueira has the advantage on the ground. But what I think people are forgetting is that both fighters of this calibur can end the fight from any position (though I don't see Nogueira getting submitted). Go Nog!

It really is very improbable that either of them would beat lesnar. I would love to see coture vs one of them. Actually it was in the 3 round, but Frank has one of the worst conditioning in the Heavy division and Nog has the best conditioning of the division(maybe the best in MMA), so if the conditioning is going to be a problem is Frank's problem.

I'd like to see Nogueira beat Mir. I know that Brock wants Mir to win because of the whole revenge crap. But I want Brock to have a BIGGER challenge by facing Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Brock is probably in the process of working on submission defense, offense, technique etc. Nogueira is a tough mofo, the guy can take LOTS of damage. But, HOW severe? I've followed every fight Mir has ever fought, he's my favorite fighter... and it kills me to say my heart is saying Nog is taking this. Nog has endurance like a fucking racehorse, a jaw like iron... and Mir tends to gas a little early... but Mir is a wild card... and I haven't lost hope yet... I've heard another opinion about Nog... that he's getting old, and, he's just, not what he used to be. I haven't seen many of his fights.. so I don't really know. Good luck Frank, I'll be rooting for you.

yeah jeez hard to say who is better on the ground...both are extremely technical and both have really smooth transitions, if it does go to the ground it will be a battle... mir is more aggressive with ground n pound, but nogueira has some really quick and nasty submissions, but so does mir, WOW this is gunna be awesome
