The British state has minimal socialist facets, but make no mistake, this IS a capitalist system which overarches the decisions and legislature of any nation-state. Remember the important thing: it is economics, not politics, which determine how life is lived. And the current economic system is strictly capitalist. I am not saying that there arent funding issues, and the NHS isnt perfect, but its not the same as the US system. Parking, phone calls and food is a side issue. This is not socialism. The British economy is on it's knees for several reasons:
1) massive debt, i.e money lent out by banks which actually never existed in the first place, essentially the system of credit is to blame for this foolishness.
2) massive war spending. We can't afford to run our own healthcare system properly, yet we can afford to bomb and occupy other countries.
3) Capitalism is greedy, and like an obese man, it kills itself with gluttony.

Thats why rail way steam engines welding does not melt even though the fire temp is over 1000 degrees centigrade etc. So how can the water be as hot as they say it is? I think we'd make it.

No wonder Jesus said Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? Mark 8:18.
