the guy is dumb as rocks but who gives a shit. this is football and brett favre was the toughest. aaron rodgers sat out a game in his first season. he won't last half as long as brett did.
My Mother had my Fathers back and he only cared for one team. He only cared for one player above all . They both knew only one person that gave all next to Vince and it was Brett. #4 and only him
@skywalker7327 it doesn't matter. what Jawroski did was great when he had to go againts reggie white, lawrence taylor and derrick thomas. but you have to realize that time changes on all players. if sammy baugh was playing today he would be great and if there were better medicle Gale sayers could had a longer carrer. Dan marino would still own the records and be the #1. you know what makes these players? warriors. Dan,Gale,Ron, they are all warriors thats what seperates them from modern players.
Favre may not be the typical brady or manning qb but he literally defined an era in the NFL everybody had a favre jersey back in the day, he was and still is the man
All u dumb fwks below me stfu Brett favre was truly one of the best qb in the NFL it's just that everytime hes about to achieve something big he gets pressured and things messed up.
Anybody that says he is the best QB in the history of the NFL, should be shot, lynched and watch their whole family die. How many SUper Bowls does he have? 1. How many Joe Montana have? 4. Any QB that has more than 1 ring is better than Brett Favre.
@Air17JordanBaller23 Look at Dan Marino. He won none. Does that make him bad? No. The only QB to throw over 500 TD's and 70,000 passing yards, 3 straight MVP's and that doesnt even make him a consideration for one of the Best QB's of all time? I dont think so.
@godzillafan4 Dan Marino was a very good QB. He was never on a good enough Dolphins team. Favre had talent surround him his whole career. In the NFL, the goal is to win Super Bowls, sure stats are nice along the way. But when it all comes down to it, the rings on your finger count the most.
@Air17JordanBaller23 Its not about the records, or the rings, its about waking up everyday knowing you left everything out on the field, having no regrets. i myself am a quarterback, and the worst feeling is knowing what if i woulda done this. sure rings are nice, but some of the greatest players dont have them and played their hearts out on the field. Even if Brett Favre never won a super bowl, he'd be remembered as one of the greats by his attitude and heart on and off the field.
@reeds002 I wonder where his attitude and heart were went he (a grandfather and married man) sent pictures of his dick and stalker voicemails to a woman half his age.
@Air17JordanBaller23 and youve never made a mistake in your life? this is what i hate about the world today, if you did something like that no one cares. if favre did, ignorant people like you gotta pull that up. give me a break. you act like hes a terrible person when he fought battles throughout his life. it takes a man to admit he has a drug problem, it takes a man to go out and play in a game the day after his father died. go back to your red light district.
@reeds002 The fact of the matter is, Favre is a fucking arrogant douche bag. Nothing anyone says will change that. He single handedly ruined his legacy, everyone knows that. It's just you Favre lovers that have this total hypothetical theory on his "heart" and "attitude". Red light district huh? Thats a good one man, actually no not really that was rediculously fucking stupid
He screwed up by being so creepy to that woman. But I don't think it ruined his football legacy. It definitely tarnished his public persona. But I don't think any less of him as a player.
The greatest QB ever, the most fun player to watch in any sport. hope he comes back this year, he got screwed by Vikes last year, they didn't stand up for him in saints Championship game, deceived him about Rice's injury, atrocious play calling last year from fool Childress, o-line didn't protect him. He gives it all - very few others can do that, Vikes were unable to in 2010, too weak. Brett needs a team that can stand up like he can.
Is he the best QB ever? No, but nobody and I mean nobody was tougher or had a bigger set of brass ones then number 4. Every day, every game, every year, every throw he was out there playing. Didn't matter if he was beaten, bloodied, broken or knocked out. Hes coming back and hes gonna sling between 5 defenders. Thanks for the memories Brett, the memories are all good.
I found out something one day while watching the NFL Network. They showed that in the 15 years prior to Favre joining the Packers, the Packers only made the playoffs ONCE. In other words Favre MADE the Packers.
@NamathTheLegend Yeah. FOUR YEARS LATER - AFTER WOLF GOT TALENT THE LIKES WHICH WASN'T AROUND IN THE 70's and 80's. Dickey could have gotten 9-7 seasons in '92-'94. You DO realize that Favre almost was BENCHED half way through the 1994 season, right? It is difficult to hand a guy the reason for a team's "turnaround" when two and half year into his tenure he is almost BENCHED because he's just not GETTING IT. By the Super Bowl year Favre was on his FOURTH chance to get it together.
I'm a Packer fan and i've watched Brett Favre for years. When he left the Packers it was devestating to me. No matter what he is a legend as a Viqueen a Packer or a Jet
i love favre. he is a true football player. His streak record is more legit than manning's. Manning doesnt even run after his int's. If u saw his boot leg a few weeks back you would truely understand how big of a pussy he is.
I am a die hard Bears Fan but still will say thank you for everything I loved to hate you every weak you played but you made the game better thank you for everything. You where amazing. Thank You for all the memories.
Brett Favre during his peak years with Holmgren as his coach was fantastic. People just forget how good he was he won 3 MVP trophies in a row! He did throw a lot of crushing interceptions in the playoffs in the latter half of his career though. I think a lot of the younger fans never really seen Brett Farve at his best.
"theres times throughout my career where I thought no one else would be the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. I thought I would be the quarterback forever. When you get older you get wiser and you realize that someone else will be the quarterback"
Who ever woulda thought that this statement would actually end up with Favre playing for the Vikings for two years? Favre has steakhouses and streets named after him in Green Bay, but he has ruined all that with his Viking/sexting shenanigans
favre was a really great nice quarterback but since he get old and get away from green bay he became an asshole, an im not a pakcers fan , how bout them cowboys :D oh yeah baby still superbowl ;)
@graafitee4eva Hey How about that 1-6 record your team has, and the fact they are gonna get destroyed by the packers tonight. just face it. Cowboys=Overrated
Favre is the second best thing to happen to green bay (Lombardi being the first). He is a legend because he managed to stay consistently good for 20 years, but I as a pack fan can't help but be pissed at him for his handling of being refused by ted thompson. If you truly read the case of brett, he was a douche about the whole situation, saying things that very much ruined his reputation in green bay, enough for him to be booed by the fans who once or perhaps still love him.
i liked brett in his early days, but he skipping training camps with this retirement thing and it also shouldn't take a "legend"15 or whatever years it took to break a passing record. a legend also doesnt have int. records either. hes good but hasnt gotten to superbowl since the 90's and intercepted AP out of last years superbowl. why is that a legend?
Man that was good. Thanks for the post. And that's the same Brett we spoke with the other night in the restaurant in Long Beach. The man loves life and happens to enjoy football too...
wrong on the next stop. great start with the jets. It"s funny how people forget about the torn biceps tendon, the jets were fined several hundred thousand dollars for that. Then look at last year. If the packers had wanted to win they would have gotten some talent before his last year there.
How can you packer fans bag on Favre? Is this seriously how you treat a player who spent 17 years of his career, giving 110 percent every game? Just mess up
I love watching Brett Favre play. He is just living greatness! I have 3 of his NFL figures from Greenbay to the Jets and now the Vikings. His is probably the only players jersey i would buy thats not on m team. He ass raped my team (Dallas Cowboys) in the playoffs this seaon and i still love the guy!! And im a DIE HARD Cowboys fan! THATS CRAZY!! I even cheered him on against the Saints. This man has so much respect from me and every other person that actually KNOWS the game. LONG LIVE NUMBER 4!!
Favre may not be the most cerebral QB like Peyton Manning, and he may not have extraordinary playoff success like Tom Brady, but he is definitely the most exciting pocket type QB to watch. Like him or hate him, he makes some of the toughest, craziest, luckiest plays... and that is why he is so highly regarded as a QB. Plus, FavreWatch is the highest rated show on TV right now.
Brett Favre isn't just the greatest QB of all time, but some people consider him the greatest football player of all time....I don't quite agree, but I don't blame anyone who does......
i am a saints fan... always have been... Brett works out with my high school's arch rival in the summer... and he never played for team i liked... but this man can play... deserves time to think bout wht he wants... and he SHOULD stay... i mean where has he gone bad? he could of won superbowl this year... he is just plain BEAST!!!
i am a saints fan... always have been... Brett can make plays no other QB in history could have made because he's willing to take risks no QB in history was willing to make. It'll make you rip your hair out and break your heart, and it'll make you cry with joy and be so proud your heart will feel like it's going to pop out of your chest.
anyone notice at 0:45, he's wearing san jose sharks hat in the post game interview. HAHA you'd never see something like that today in the sports world.
I'll be a cheesehead until I die. I got to see Brett come back to Lambeau as a viking last year... He's still the man. I can't help but like him still.
favre is amazing he has almost most of the qb records and if you dont like him than dont look up his highlights k thats all i say about the brett favre haters out there
Look at me I am peyton manning i can do no wrong I am perfect. I kiss everybodys ass. I steal mvps for players that deserve it more than me, but hey thats whay you can do when ur a kiss ass. LOL fuck you petyon manning YOU yes YOU blew the superbowl with a PICK SIX. You stole the mvp from Favre and you choked like a fat girl on a chicken wing. You will not get all the records and you will never win a other superbowl, please stop crying and kissing everyones ass bye bye
Why you hating on Manning? You're a little bitch. Manning will Break Brett's records.
And how did Manning not deserve the NFL MVP?
When he was out of the game the Colts absolutely sucked Donkey balls without him.
When Tavaris Jackson was on the Field, the Vikings were scoring Touchdowns. Even the Announcers were saying it "nothing changed on the field for the Vikings, they score"
LOL owned once again. birng it bring it. Favre didnt change the way vikings played??? hahaha, thats why nobody even cared about AP it was all about Favre. Look at the WR stats and look how much better they were from last year to this year again. Thats right fag Favre changed the way vikings passed. hahaa loser
OH God Look at me i am petyon i can do no wrong its was Waynes fault. I mean i threw the ball right the CB but it was waynes fault. I could have lead my team down the field and tied the game but I (Peyton Manning) threw a interception right to the CB. PEYTON MANNING CHOKED CHOKED, get over it. Peyton blew the game. Favre was 40 years old on a different team that he made better ha ha
whistle whistle everyone look scarfag is my new troll bitch, hear boy hear boy, good troll now roll over. good boy now heres ur homo treat. yea haw tony hom americas choke arist yea haw how about them cowboys lost to the vikes lost the vikes
Quote from gfscarface13, "I respect brett favre because he won a superbowl. I also think Tom Brady is a terrible playoff QB because of the AFC championship with the colts, interception, 18-1, and this years HORRIBLE performance. The only argument I have against brett favre is that he's just too damn sexy
@gfscarface13 grow up and stop acting homo. u are one stupid idiot. 12 teams goes to the playoff EVERY YEAR u dumbass ignorence kid. and only ONE gets to win. so that means 11 teams lose in the playoff everytime u idiot. we call playoff teams good. u call it choke time hahahahahaha man kid u are so fucking retarded hahahahah hell no what u saying is like oh who ever in playofff doesnt win then they suck hahahaha man i aint never herd no one said playoff is for weak teams hahah until now. ur gay!
if that last game really was his last then he went out a warrior and a champion although the score would indicate otherwise he could barely move but still gutted it out that is pure courage and why he is my favorite player of all time
yes we do love aaron rogers and he is the best by far now cuz he is younger but packer fans take time to see brett favre in his prime as well. Thank you and know that He is an all time legend. The best QB out there ever. My house we love Brett Favre forever and always all time, Love you B Favre
I love Brett Favre, he's my second favorite QB! but I think that he needs to retire before he gets hurt really bad! If this wasn't football I would want him to stay, but it's too agressive for a 40 year old to play. But I do love Brett!
wow and green bay turned there back on him as soon he went to new york it makes me sick but then i get better when i realise aaron rodgers is no favre
i agree but there is two main reasons for that and that is that it is less competitive now then it was ten years ago and plus rodgers has a running back with all-star potential in ryan grant
he's the most outstanding player still today. I've never seen a guy go out on the field and have so much fun.. every down :) i place him right up with Steve Young! love you, brett :)
The throw at :52 really shows his arm strength. 50+ yards against his body

Brett can make plays no other QB in history could have made because he's willing to take risks no QB in history was willing to make. It'll make you rip your hair out and break your heart, and it'll make you cry with joy and be so proud your heart will feel like it's going to pop out of your chest.
I'll miss watching him play when he's gone.

anyone notice at 0:45, he's wearing san jose sharks hat in the post game interview. HAHA you'd never see something like that today in the sports world.

I'll be a cheesehead until I die. I got to see Brett come back to Lambeau as a viking last year... He's still the man. I can't help but like him still.

Brett Favre is a little Bitch
gfscarface13 2 years ago
Look at me I am peyton manning i can do no wrong I am perfect. I kiss everybodys ass. I steal mvps for players that deserve it more than me, but hey thats whay you can do when ur a kiss ass. LOL fuck you petyon manning YOU yes YOU blew the superbowl with a PICK SIX. You stole the mvp from Favre and you choked like a fat girl on a chicken wing. You will not get all the records and you will never win a other superbowl, please stop crying and kissing everyones ass bye bye
carter20081985 2 years ago
Why you hating on Manning? You're a little bitch. Manning will Break Brett's records.
And how did Manning not deserve the NFL MVP?
When he was out of the game the Colts absolutely sucked Donkey balls without him.
When Tavaris Jackson was on the Field, the Vikings were scoring Touchdowns. Even the Announcers were saying it "nothing changed on the field for the Vikings, they score"
Manning > Favre
gfscarface13 2 years ago
LOL owned once again. birng it bring it. Favre didnt change the way vikings played??? hahaha, thats why nobody even cared about AP it was all about Favre. Look at the WR stats and look how much better they were from last year to this year again. Thats right fag Favre changed the way vikings passed. hahaa loser
carter20081985 2 years ago 2
I dont care about MVP's though, but Manning did deserve to win the MVP.
The same thing happed in 1997, Barry Sanders was Clearly the Best NFL Player on the Planet and yet Brett got a share of the MVP with Barry Sanders.
It should have been just Barry Sanders.
The other 1997 MVP polls Barry Sanders was the sole Winner.
So dont be Double Standard, cause Brett should have not shared it with Barry Sanders in 1997.

Yeah it looks like Peyton Manning will be the Next Brett Favre
Great in the Regular Season and Choke in the Playoffs with a Stupid Interception.
But not unless Peyton wins a SuperBowl before he retires, he'll be above Brett Favre

Quote from gfscarface13, "I respect brett favre because he won a superbowl. I also think Tom Brady is a terrible playoff QB because of the AFC championship with the colts, interception, 18-1, and this years HORRIBLE performance. The only argument I have against brett favre is that he's just too damn sexy
carter20081985 2 years ago
@gfscarface13 grow up and stop acting homo. u are one stupid idiot. 12 teams goes to the playoff EVERY YEAR u dumbass ignorence kid. and only ONE gets to win. so that means 11 teams lose in the playoff everytime u idiot. we call playoff teams good. u call it choke time hahahahahaha man kid u are so fucking retarded hahahahah hell no what u saying is like oh who ever in playofff doesnt win then they suck hahahaha man i aint never herd no one said playoff is for weak teams hahah until now. ur gay!

I love Brett Favre, he's my second favorite QB! but I think that he needs to retire before he gets hurt really bad! If this wasn't football I would want him to stay, but it's too agressive for a 40 year old to play. But I do love Brett!

Brett Favre thank you for making me love football more then i already do
aphorne 2 years ago
wow and green bay turned there back on him as soon he went to new york it makes me sick but then i get better when i realise aaron rodgers is no favre
bullocktheo 2 years ago 4
I think Rodgers is better, I mean, Brett Favre is better. But I think Rodgers will win a super bowl or multiple ones with GB.
guysdave1 2 years ago
i agree but there is two main reasons for that and that is that it is less competitive now then it was ten years ago and plus rodgers has a running back with all-star potential in ryan grant
bullocktheo 2 years ago
What? Brett has a better running back than him! Adrian Peterson
