Wow... I could barely watch this video... I cried. The depression and being put down, is what my life looks like right now.. I'm a Christian, but I've been rejecting God because I feel like He has abandoned me.. That's not true tho. I need to run back to Him-33..
My youth group did this skit and performed it on halloween of 2010. I was the main character and I'm so glad I did it. It touched everyone that was there. If you're in youth group recommend this to your youth leaders to do!! :)

@blazinheart12 suicide is a permanant decision for a temporary problem sweetie, once you get through this depression your gonna be so happy you never went through with it, yes God does want to help you so much, but you need to help yourself too by running for him with all you have. forget the world and be submergerd by him. you're beautiful. We need not to gain approval from men, or to seek it. This skit is beautiful and powerful. I thank everyone who has participated in any of them, and they have inspired me. This skit is very moving, but it gives an FALSE view of God. God is sovereign over everything, he does not stand helplessly by as Satan assaults us, he ordains everything that comes in our life, good and bad. This skit is man centered and disentangle reflect the true gospel. Furthermore, the skit portrays humanity as essentially good from the outset, whereas the bible clearly states that humanity is evil at heart.
@guads1412 God created us with a free will to chose the life we want to live. He wants to be welcomed into us, by us. He will always tug at your heart when you take the path that was not set out for you by God, but when you cry out to him and open your life FULLY to Him he will rid you of things that weigh you down like drugs, per-marital sex, etc. Not to say you won't have temptations but through Him all things are possible.

My local church performed this skit, and it was amazing. Its awesome that God can use us in so many ways. Whoever came up with this skit is a pure genius, and thank God himself for creating such encouraging people!!!
Do you feel God as a supreme entity having an influnce on you, changing you and making you see? By seeing I mean: seeing Gods hand in the world as well as satans hand in the world. If he stepped in earliershe would have never felt the same way as she did at that point. He wants us to fight to get him back! I wish I could hug Jesus once more.. I've been pulled away from God so many times already. If tomorrow really is Judgement day, I hope to feel close to him once more.. To have someone to rely on and cry to each night. I love you God, and I'm truly sorry for being so blind my whole Life..

This is simply just amazing! We did the same skit at my church! It made me cry so much with tears of joy because you look back and just think that Jesus is all you need. He has changed my life completely!

@iloveyaification I know what you mean. I was 13 when I first saw this skit. At was everything but dragged to this Christian Teen Convention by my friend, I was bored. I wasn't interested in anything like this, why should I? When I saw depression come up I lost it. I was sitting there begging God to help me. I still have a problem with depression but when it gets bad I force myself to watch this, to see that I don't have to go through this alone, I have to fight for MY God.

I id this skit with my church. I was nervous thinking I was going to mess up. But I prayed and the play was perfect. I am trying to get the new church I go to to do a skit like this. I just love this. God had blessed me in so many ways. I got saved to this song. this was a skit at my school and it was really intense!!! it was the first time we had ever seen it only 6 and up could see it it was really intense!! but it's life changing this shows what could happen if you cut your self, or greed, or get drunk, or worst of all kill your self!!! that's a really big thing right now teen suicide! it's really sad! but this shows what would happen and God is always going to help! i believe and love God!! this is life changing follow good influences, not bad! :)

i dont know if im able to be forgiven. ive done worse things then everyone in my famliy. and im only 16. i have older brothers and sister who would never do the things i do. i have draink before and i have smoked and had sex with someone i didnt really cared about and he was 21 and i told him i was 17. it was the worst thing i have ever done. im not sure if i can be forgiven i try and try so hard but i dont think i can do anything anymore...i hate it! and myself for being so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!
@hotty496 God has already forgiven you frankly because you admitted these things. You are only human, therefore you make mistakes. But that doesnt mean you arent forgiven. You just need to pray. Oh, sweet girl! I've been there! I can tell you from experience a resounding YES!!!!!! God promises us that He will forgive us. Ask Him to, confess to Him what you've done and ask Him to lead you. Then find a church nearby and find someone there that can talk with you. All you have to do is ask Him and you will be forgiven!! I'll be praying for you. God bless! I can also tell you that God redeems and although I made similar mistakes, God has turned my life around!!

Hmmmmmm. I think that 'god' in this skit can be represent many things..... many be not even god, but some or something that is always there to protect us. different for each person.
If u read the bible u would see that he lets us choose our way of living, doesn't want to make anyone have to follow him. Just look at it this way, when Jesus was alive not that many ppl followed him because they though that he was a fake even though they could see him, they even had him killed though most of them were "christans". Everyone who belives today hasn't seen him nor will they till they die or he comes back. read the front of the bible, its adam & eves fault we r sinners
i think they start her in a black shirt because the bible says everyone is born into sin? i'm not sure. maybe it was to make a more dramatic affect at the end, or maybe just because it was easier than having her put a black shirt on in the middle lol
@jbsnumbronefan I think the black stands for sin, and you are right that everyone is born into sin, so it would be fitting. At the end, they rip off the black, and it reveals white. White represents purity, and that is when she turns her back on sin and lives in God's light.

Then I became depressed because a boy didn't like me and my dad was abusive. I started to cut myself as a way to cope instead of leaning on Him. I developed anorexia and was suicidal. I drank and I did drugs, but God forgave me! Life doesn't seem so hopeless anymore. Things really are better and MUCH easier if you fully trust in and lean on the Lord.

they did a skit just like this at my camp. I cried so hard watching it and watching this because I was and still am that girl. however I know Jesus loves me and will always be there and save me.

Do you feel God as a supreme entity having an influnce on you, changing you and making you see? By seeing I mean: seeing Gods hand in the world as well as satans hand in the world. I 've felt Gods presence around me knowing it was God only a few times. I knew it was him and it was sureal. Its hard to return to the feeling that God is right there like Ive experienced before. If he stepped in earliershe would have never felt the same way as she did at that point. He wants us to fight to get him back! @iloveyaification I know what you mean. I was 13 when I first saw this skit. At was everything but dragged to this Christian Teen Convention by my friend, I was bored. I wasn't interested in anything like this, why should I? When I saw depression come up I lost it. I was sitting there begging God to help me. I still have a problem with depression but when it gets bad I force myself to watch this, to see that I don't have to go through this alone, I have to fight for MY God.

I id this skit with my church. I was nervous thinking I was going to mess up. But I prayed and the play was perfect. I am trying to get the new church I go to to do a skit like this. I just love this. God had blessed me in so many ways. I got saved to this song. Even if you feel like God has turned his back on you just reach out I know I can be hard but it is worth it in the the end. I am only 14 So if I can fall so deeply in love with God I know. I KNOW everyone else can too.

this was a skit at my school and it was really intense!!! it was the first time we had ever seen it only 6 and up could see it it was really intense!! but it's life changing this shows what could happen if you cut your self, or greed, or get drunk, or worst of all kill your self!!! that's a really big thing right now teen suicide! it's really sad! but this shows what would happen and God is always going to help! i believe and love God!! this is life changing follow good influences, not bad! :)

i dont know if im able to be forgiven. ive done worse things then everyone in my famliy. and im only 16. i have older brothers and sister who would never do the things i do. i have draink before and i have smoked and had sex with someone i didnt really cared about and he was 21 and i told him i was 17. it was the worst thing i have ever done. im not sure if i can be forgiven i try and try so hard but i dont think i can do anything anymore...i hate it! and myself for being so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!

@hotty496 God has already forgiven you frankly because you admitted these things. You are only human, therefore you make mistakes. But that doesnt mean you arent forgiven. You just need to pray. Trust me. I know how it feels to feel lonely without God. He is always there, whether or not you think He is. But he only acts when you ask Him. So just pray.

Oh, sweet girl! I've been there! I can tell you from experience a resounding YES!!!!!! God promises us that He will forgive us. Ask Him to, confess to Him what you've done and ask Him to lead you. Then find a church nearby and find someone there that can talk with you. All you have to do is ask Him and you will be forgiven!! I'll be praying for you. God bless! I can also tell you that God redeems and although I made similar mistakes, God has turned my life around!!

If u read the bible u would see that he lets us choose our way of living, doesn't want to make anyone have to follow him. Just look at it this way, when Jesus was alive not that many ppl followed him because they though that he was a fake even though they could see him, they even had him killed though most of them were "christans". @jbsnumbronefan I think the black stands for sin, and you are right that everyone is born into sin, so it would be fitting. At the end, they rip off the black, and it reveals white. White represents purity, and that is when she turns her back on sin and lives in God's light.

@topgun2166 I really hope you see and read this. I know how you feel. My life used to be miserable. I mean, I was always close to God. Then I became depressed because a boy didn't like me and my dad was abusive. I started to cut myself as a way to cope instead of leaning on Him. I developed anorexia and was suicidal. I drank and I did drugs, but God forgave me! Life doesn't seem so hopeless anymore. Things really are better and MUCH easier if you fully trust in and lean on the Lord.

Do tears at the thought of a mother's death take away from the reality of both the pain and the experience of her child's loss? We honour the prophet Issa (Jesus) so much that we would NEVER put on a play with some hippie guy dressed in robes acting he was christ.

i am a christian but i disagree with you. this skit is about backsliding and comming back to christ. some ppl as urself might see it as stupid but to others this is how they first come in contact with christ. some ppl need these types of things to know they are not all alone
and about flip flops and stuff, well my church is pentacostal and we go strictly by the bible, it is rude to say every1 is a certian way, and that we are all the same cuz we arnt. you have to honor and respect jesus.
