  • A question if I may, why aren't you using the subsurface modifier? And is this the best way to obtain an exceptionally good body model? Cuz I'm new to this and I don't think I can do all this tweaking and stuff

  • @Theclinsh it can be applied at a later stage, but modeling using the subdivision cage is something i've never seen suggested nowadays (mainly because you don't really know what's the real geometry underneath). the tweaking becomes natural, when you don't like the shape; also keep in mind that as you become better at modeling, the tweaking will be less. i'm still learning, so don't use my style as your main learning guide! i just wanted to share how i started!

  • Although you're a great modeler, I think you tweak too much. Very difficult to follow what you're doing without any explanation.

    Anyway, since i'm not using subsurf, i'm forced to tweak the polygons in order to obtain an even distribution of vertices (that also makes the rest of the mesh a lot easier to edit - for me, at least!).
