how colonial... with all their wealth, can't afford to create a Military Academy LOL. Instead go whoring around in UK (Oxford, Sandhurst). But it's kinda OK. Why bother with trivial crap like schools, hospitals & museums at home. They can always travel to them if needed. What's REALLY useful is artificial islands, 7 star hoe tels, indoor ski slopes & crappy spectacular "entertainment" catering to primitive instincts.

@sphinxofthenewage worry not, few people will dare think or say this... especially not the British "Royals" or Western "businessmen"... keep kissing the butts, keep collecting the money. Like seriously, I would get bored to death doing that. I need adventure, excitement in life, not just a paycheck. And don't get me wrong, while I find some sheiks EXTREMELY sexy, I would make a VERY BAD friend and advisor as I tend to be quite honest and direct. So much for comfortable brown-nosing.

@bauTom well bottom line is , that its true. my friend once asked me do u want to be like one of them ? all the cars all the money ? girls ? yachts etc etc. my reply was im happy the way i am , im actually glad im not like them im self dependant ,i earn what i want the hard way, and actually im contributing something to society which is better than all those u mentioned.

@sphinxofthenewage In my case, it's more than that, I got invited there (expertise in aviation) and still have a good female friend who lives & married there. I could go tomorrow. No thanks. A land where culture, history, and freedom are purposely evacuated would be a waste of my life. And just as you, I am very happy with my achievements, the most valuable of which aren't measured in material terms. I'm also very self-dependent (freedom and relative anonymity are priceless).
