  • CaptainMoroniMsgs: For the most part, I was just putting scripture together... I think it's God's business in how He judges us but I feel like we have a great responsibility... I think what we should focus on as His creations is that we will have very little excuses, especially this day in age with the internet and whatnot...

Most of what we are interested in knowing is available to us right now. It's up to us to choose what to fill our minds with and the truths to discover.

  • @WorldsFinalEvents =) I appreciate the time you have put into this video. And i would say that these simple truths are some of the things most ignored in this world today. We are taught by the world that God loves us so much that it he doesnt expect much from us, because we are imperfect, but i would argue otherwise, he knows each of us perfectly and that he knows our potential. We are not perfect, but if we trust in the Lord we can accomplish great things and help our brothers and sisters.

  • i like this video, but i disagree witht he part about those not knowing the law being judged by the same moral precepts of those who have the law. you used romans 7:7 paul knew sin once he knew the law, therefore those who have no law cannot break the law which they dont have. and romans 2:12 says those who ahve sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. to some degree, even without the law(10commandments) there is still things wer are taught and therefore we can sin but not in the law

  • These 4 Post r a Rebuttal 2 this video; plz read & pray bc there's only 1 Gospel. If u keep Law, ur nt saved. In closing, please read this:

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. - Romans 10:2-4

  • Finally, we should work, bt NOT for our Salvation bc Salvation is a GIFT. We are to work OUT our salvatiion (like working ot on muscles, we work out something we already hve...Salvation & nt work 4 it) w/ fear & trembling bc in vs 13 "For it is God which WORKETH in you both to WLL and to DO of his good pleasure."

Again, we R 2 love the LORD, Love our neighbors, keep the moral law, & so on bt nt 2 be saved bt bc we're saved & bc more importantly, we Love Him 4 what he did 4 us @ the Cross

  • & so, if Jesus died 2 free us frm the Law, why r we going back 2 it 2 be justified? When the circumcision group told new believers tht they must be circumcized 2 be saved, u knw what Peter told them?

10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? - Acts 15:10

Recall in Rom. 2:25, so 2 say, "welll u need works too" tht is placing a Yoke tht even the Jews can't bear no matter what (James. 2:10)

  • Yes, Rom. 2 God judges x works (5-16), bt he goes on 2 state the problem of keeping the law (17-25) & btw, Paul was nt talking about the ceremonial & civil law, bt the moral law. So while true tht God judges x deeds bt also true... No 1 Can Keep it perfectly unto savation (3:9-18) whic vs why in vs 19-20, no 1 can be justified @ all bc knwing it is knwledge of sin. Thts the same frm the Mosaic Law 2 the completion of Law x Jesus (Matt. 5:17-19). Jesus died 4 a reason, 2 free us frm the Law.

  • I saw this video on a Recommends, & I hve 2 say I disagree w/ it. 1st, in James if u read the context of vs 14, (ct:15-16,), 17 (18), 19 (cf Deut. 6:4), it's nt talking about saved x wrks bt salvation 2 people w/ is most evident in vs 18 [a man may say...shw me... (nt shw God)]. 2nd, we as Christias r nt 2 keep the Sabbath, it's only 4 the Jews. In Col. 2:14-16, both Circumcison & Sabbath were counted as a curse & so like any commandment, Jesus indeed nailed it on the Cross (Gal. 3:10-13)

  • Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent." -John 6:29

  • If we know the law, but yet choose to act against our knowledge we are held to a higher account because we know better. But if someone has never known the gospel, and what it tells us they committed the sin without the knowledge of the gospel, and technically didn't know better. there is a fine line dividing the two if you get my drift. What do you think?

  • Btw, did you know the founders believed the preamble to the constitution was sufficient not to need the bill of rights??? Read that thing lol!!

Just goes to show how little explanation is needed when everybody knows that others already know pertinent information. And how difficult it is when later peoples try to understand.

  • Every YouTube channel about anything Christian at all is proof of the church being divided into about 35,000 bits. Some things are common sense, others a kittle more dufficult. But when you have scriptures that were purposely tampered with to create confusion, well in circles we all go, around and around and around.

  • Works of the Law in particular (based on the Letters to the Romans and Galatians) are not the same as good works in general (based on the Letter of James). The former is based on the standards of the Mosaic Law, while the latter is based on the standards of Jesus Christ who brought the Law into perfection.

  • I believe in the gospel every day is to be treated as a Sabath. cant remember where. Says something like follow me everyday.

  • I agree that we should follow God everyday. The Sabbath is not meant as a day for you to be a real Christian and then sin as much as you'd like throughout the week...

It's meant as a day of rest from our everyday work and problems.

The Bible is specific that the Sabbath is the 7th day. Are you discrediting it?

  • Jesus did good works on the Sabbath?

  • Yes, Jesus did good works on the Sabbath. Seventh Day Adventist Christians (Christians who keep the Sabbath) have many hospitals... Do you think they all close on Friday night sunset? Of course not!

We are to do good works on the Sabbath. That's what the Pharisees didn't understand.

  • Works of righteousness are permitted on the Sabbath in Judaism. Human welfare is more important than sacrifice. Jesus challenges to the Temple priests were that they were not doing works of righteousness on the Sabbath. In that sense Jesus was stricter than than the Temple priests! Who were willing to accept, "going through the motions" as sufficient. As your video stated, Jesus came to "magnify" the law, not eliminate the Sabbath. That would be "throwing out the baby with the bathwater".

  • I believe Paul also warned of placing any signifigance on religious holidays.

  • He did. However the seventh day Sabbath is not a ceremonial sabbath. There's a big difference. Colossians 2:16 has been taken out of context way too many times and is easily explained. Paul was speaking of the CEREMONIAL sabbaths. The greek word sabbath used in this passage is not exactly the same as that used in Exodus 20 speaking of the Seventh Day.

Also there is a parallel verse to Colossians 2:16 (of the NT) in Isaiah 1:13,14 (of the OT)

  • I ask you this, did Jesus keep all the Sabbaths? those being the different holidays. I'm beginning to think that following the 10 commandments requires following all the other commands and statutes that enable you to follow the 10. To observe the Sabbath you would have to look to those laws to see how to do that. Jesus said none of the law was abolished. that would include the laws God gave on how to keep the Sabbath.

  • You make a very good point.

I know Jesus kept the 7th day Sabbath as written by God's own finger on the tablets of stone...

As for the others, I will need to study more about that.

But remember God placed great significance on His ten commandments!

The specific Sabbath laws were not written by God's own finger on tablets of stone.

And besides, the 4th commandment contains everything you need to know to keep the Sabbath!

  • Now lets ask ourselves the question: did Jesus' followers keep the Sabbath in the OT? (They obviously did)

And if they did then Isaiah 1:13,14 is not at all dismissing the 4th Commandment. Therefore Colossians 2:16 does not in any way dismiss the Sabbath in the NT.

Just read it in context and get into the original translation if you must.

And anyways, the Sabbath was implemented before the Ten Commandments were carried down from Moses.

It was even there at the beginning of creation.

  • about the other holidays, wasn't the Lord Supper observed on passover?

  • correct.

  • if you're guided by the spirit through faith, then works are only a result of following the guidance of the Holy Spirit. But if you do not have faith in Christ, works are as filthy rags. which do you think is more essential? without faith, you are already dead.

  • Great Video.

  • Question which day is actually the sabbath, and what exactly should we do on that day or what can we not do?

  • Saturday is the Sabbath (as Jesus kept it). More specifically, Friday sunset through Saturday sunset = Sabbath. Just read the Ten Commandments on Exodus 20 and you will know how to keep it... Moses' law was done away with but God's Word written by His own finger will never be gone...

  • We are to worship the Lord thy God, and to keep it holy, meaning, no work, just praise and worship to our heavenly father. The same thing you do in church every sunday, but do it on saturday. The pope changed GOD'S holy day, and another of His ten commandments, Thy shalt have none other GOD before me, they worship Idol's, and THEY bow down to the pope in worship, we are only to worship God almighty and give reverence to Him, and Him only. The pope is the false prophet.(SATURDAY)IS GOD'S SABBATH.

  • Mark 12:28-31

    Romans 13:9-10

    Galatians 5:14

    1Corinthians 16:2

    Acts 20:7

Looks like worship changed to sunday due to Christs resurrection.

    Matt 7:15

    1 Timothy 2:11-15

SDA founded by Ellen G. White

  • We are to worship God EVERY day. I can show you an overwhelming number of verses in the NT speaking of Sabbath worship.

We are to worship God every day but not every day is our Sabbath rest.

If you believe the 4th commandment is irrelevant why should the other 9 be?

Why don't you murder or worship other gods?

You might as well because if you break one you break them all!

And SDA wasn't founded by Ellen White. If it was founded by anyone it was probably William Miller.

  • The sabbath day changed. I am curious do you keep the sabbatical year as well or just the old testaments weekly sabbath? Is your doctrine not born of Ellen G. White? Interesting that she would be visited by angels proclaiming the investigative judgment was correct but didn't give her that information directly.

  • Was the sabbatical year written by the finger of God or the handwriting of ordinances (Moses)?

Seems as if you think EGW is a false prophet... hehe What is your evidence for this?

    I'm open to any debate.

  • Hebrews 9:12 The original greek text reads holiest of holy.

  • You're point?

  • Your kidding me right. You don't get it? Your doctrine says 1844 Jesus entered the holiest of holy but because Ellen and the others couldn't read greek they determined that it hadn't occured yet. Her lack of a prophetic gift is proven.

  • So lets hear it, how is "her lack of a prophetic gift proven" when Isaiah says that God's people have the "Testimony of Jesus AND His law".

She is one of the few people that advocate Faith in Jesus AND His eternal law.

  • Your wasting your time my friend.Although I think the SDA church has alot to offer in regards to the sabbath, their blind belief in EGW is a sad shame.1844 has no biblical support and is based off an erronious interpretation of Dan8 and Heb9.Heb9 plainly states that Christ entered into the Most Holy place with His Atoning Blood once. They would rather try to proof read the bible to support EGW than admitt she may have been wrong.

  • So what is your interpretation of the 2300 days? When does it start?

  • Another thing, what exactly does my video have to do with EGW again? Do you see me quoting the Spirit of Prophecy or the Bible?

  • I was repling to christiantoaist.Heb9 clairly states that Christ entered the Most Holy and completed the work of atoment ONCE,this contradicts the SDA 1844 sancturay doctine. Also Dan8 refers to 2300 evenings and mornings or the daily(note litteral days)sacrifice being taken away by a Greek king.Sorry no 1844 there either. The point EGW was wrong.

  • holysaturnius, please read Daniel 8 in context. Unless you believe the "little horn" is actual horn why should 2300 days not be symbolic as well?

  • The little horn was a Greek king as Dan8 explains. Also how do you explain Heb9 stating that Christ entered the Most Holy once and completed the work of atonement,as the High Priest did in the earthy sancturary once a year, with the SDA 1844 sancturary doctrine. Please stick to the context of Heb9.

  • I think aègiov (hagion) is a more general term than you may think... it's used for "holy place" "holiest" "sanctuary" etc... It's not restricted to "Most holy place".

  • What of 'ephapax' = once for all. Indicative of the high priest entering the holiest of holy once a year. This cleary indicates your prophet is wrong.

  • Do you keep the Sabbath or do you keep Sunday?

  • AMEN! AMEN!

  • Hebrews 11:6 informs us it's impossible to please God without faith, while the Lord mentions in luke 6:47-49 that those who hear and do his will he likens to a wise man who built his house on a firm foundation.

I found that an informative presentation on works and faith. I'd agree it is a commonly misunderstood biblical concept and I feel you handled it succinctly. Cheers man. =)

  • If you havnt accepted Jesus into your life as your personal saviour than it doesn't matter what day you worship on!!!

  • Agreed. There's no point in keeping the Sabbath if you don't have Jesus. Also, we are to worship God everyday but not every day is a day of rest.

    Exodus 20

9Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

  • Exodus 20:10 - notice the article that are being used, it's "deinite." "the" seventh day is "the" sabbath day of "the" Lord thy God (not jews or israel." it is not "a" sabbath day or "a" seventh day or "a" Lord thy God which is "indefinite article." Therefore, sabbath is not just any day of the week but "the seventh day."

  • i can't explain any clearer than that. The Lord never allowed anyone to alter His Laws or pick "a" or "any" day of the week and make it a sabbath. The Lord never said that sunday has already taken the place of the seventh day in honor of the resurrection.

  • True and Heb 4 is the perfect example of your comment

Jesus is our Sabbath rest. The same way we show that we don't kill internally, is the same way we show externally by obviously not killing.

The same way Jesus is our Sabbath rest internally, is the same way we show it externally by resting from our physical works and resting the day which shows who we are sanctified from.

Everything happens inside us before it happens outside. We think about stealing before we do it right.

    God bless

  • A great comment there, cornerstone111 ! So I shouldn't expect ANYBODY AT ALL to have a problem with choosing the very same one that HE chose!

    How about YOU?

  • What I am saying is, lets keep the main thing the main thing, and that is Jesus.

  • My God, the SDA's keep pulling the same exact texts... if you cannot pull out any offical documents proving that it was changed, we can easily say that the day itself was never changed, but people mentally altered the week. For instance: Sunday was once the seventh day but the week was altered one day and it became the first. Since no concrete evidence can be provided that the sabbath itself was shifted, then we can easily say that the week was shifted, making the SDA's sabbath the wrong day.

  • boydude, the weekly cycle NEVER changed. I challenge you to give me evidence to the contrary. The change from the Julian to the Gregorian Calendar changed the dates but did not mess with the weekly cycle.

  • Why is it that people think they have to go one up on God and put something into effect that He has never authorized, and then pat themselves on the back for doing it? How silly for the Creation telling its Creator how things ought to be!

  • All we can do is pray and be sure that the Holy Spirit touches them. And that they open their hearts to Jesus and obey HIM rather than men and tradition.

  • AMEN!

  • jkw733, hey my dear friend, I have wondered the same exact thing. I know that our Savior hears everything that we say and think. He knows our heart! I have personal relationship with my sweet Christ, so, I delight in keeping His commands. It is an honor to be able to honor my Father God, Creator of everything that is good. Happy Sabbath my dear brothers and sisters. Pamela.

  • Matt 22 codifies the 10 commendments.

Also the Sabbath will be God's way of knowing who His people are.

  • Yup. The Sabbath is the seal of God as the mark is satan's seal (or mark of the beast). If God's seal is the Sabbath guess what satan's is...

    Daniel 7

25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change TIMES and LAWS: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

  • Actually, WFE, God's seal is His CHARACTER written on our hearts and minds via His Holy Spirit, as opposed to SATAN's character being sealed into the hearts and minds of those not accepting God all the way, or "sitting on the fence"; a speaker at church just this evening brought this out for us to once again consider.

God's character is represented by every one of His permanent, unchangeable Ten Commandments, given for OUR good, and it is reflected to the world by all who choose to honor them.

  • Good point, I'm not implying that you could keep the Sabbath and rejects the other 9 but think about it: the Bible says if you break one you break them all, and most Christians do not have a problem with the other 9 so the Sabbath is definitely a sign between God and His people.

  • Exodus 31 16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL covenant. 17It is a SIGN between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. 18And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.

  • Excellent, thank you so much.

  • Accept the request, God willing, there are many more to come. :)

  • Beautiful! All 10 minutes. I was overwhelmed with peace, joy and praise. Loved your music selection, too! God bless you...

  • Yeah, I wanted to make the videos shorter but it was close to impossible for this one... Hopefully my next videos will be around 5 minutes... Lets see... God bless you and everyone else for watching!

  • Amen. Great video WorldsFinalEvents. May God continue to bless your ministry.

  • God bless you too, sleanos. I wanna see more 3 angels message video from you! :)

  • Will do ;)

  • I was only able to watch about the first three minutes, but I liked what I had seen so far. =)

It's so surprising how people miss this fact and accuse SDAs for "working" our way to heaven when we have never taught such things.

When you love God you want to do what pleases Him.

  • You are right, bananaz... And many people don't realize that when we pray we need to ask God for things like Truth, Faith, Repentance, and the Power to do His will as well! It is only possible through Him who strengthens us! :)

  • A fine job!

"I had not known sin but by the law..." Yes!

The law shows us that none of us have been perfect enough to ever keep it. The law showed me I was doomed apart from God's intervention---I failed to live up to His standards. The law showed me how I was bankrupt of ANY righteousness born of my own innate ability. I simply couldn't keep the law.

The law shows me I have no ability to keep it! ONLY ONE lived sin-free.

Excellent! Keep up the good work

  • Amen. But to say it is not possible to keep the law after we find Christ is not accurate. Remember, all things are possible through Him who gives us strength! :)

  • you have to pray and ask God to put the holy spirit inside of you , because the holy ghost is what will strengthen us to be able to keep the law.

  • Agreed. W/o the Holy Spirit we are lost on our own efforts...

  • I praise God that His laws CAN STILL INDEED be kept, and ARE, since He sends His Holy Spirit INTO US to perform those things which extend beyond our own human capabilities, as we allow it! "CHRIST IN US, the hope of glory"!

    Great video, WFE!

  • Thanx jkw, you have some great videos yourself! :)

  • May all praise be to God for them, indeed!

  • thanks for posting..

  • Thanx for watching. God bless.
