This song is basically telling us to "Get your head down to earth" in a way. A lot of us do dwell on life matters, and we hope we don't have to sweep it up. In my opinion, that could be the reason why this world is so "dirty".

Not pollution... or anything like that. What I mean is the fact that a lot of things in our laws and our life is so messed up.. and it's everywhere now.

"Hold yourself together or you will suffer." - Those are the words of this song.

And as for the "price we'll have to pay" she's saying that if we dont do anything about it, and wait for a miracle, we're going to have to suffer the consequences.

people see onoe hot day in december in nyc.. its 65 degrees, and they blame it on global warming. THAT IS NOT WHAT GLOBAL WARMING DOES, what GW actually is, is the rise in the AVERAGE yearly temperature by about ONE or TWO degrees over the span of 50, yes FIFTY years or so.

meaning fifty years ago, it wouldn't have been 65 degrees that day, but 63 or even 64. would people have blamed global warming for that hot day back then? probably not. So how come they do now?
