ok....I love Yela's music, but I lived in Berkeley.. homeless.. literally Homeless, for the 90's and early 2000's, People's Park was home for my whole crew. Telegraph to Shattuck all the way down to Oakland and Emeryville.. this guy was NEVER a regular.. he may have stopped to eat a meal once or twice but People's Park and/or B-town were not his stompin grounds.. Food Not Bombs was only in the park for a few hours at best whenever they were there.. I skated all the spots, never saw him,not once.
