The actress for the Rose could have been chosen more appropriately! She had some sexy approach in the movie which was unnecessary, and was too old for the role.
i would have let the sheep kill the rose! "bitchy rose!!" i cant belive she called the little prince selfish :O she is so full of herself if i was the little prince i would have drawn a watering can filled with acid & burnt her all the way down+.*.+.
The little boy is so cute. Who is playing the role of the Little Prince and what year did this come out. I love this production so far - very sweet. Thanks!
well thats just the thing about being human. we have to deal with flowers, for whom we shed hot tears, love so horribly, and never will be happy. (sigh)
El Principito no es un cuento precisamente para niños pequeños, sino para niños que han crecido y olvidado la esencia de la sensibilidad para ver y vivir la vida... de una forma más honesta, menos hipócrita.
I disagree with both of those choices. the most important thing is WHY someone does something or WHY they say something. of course, actions speak louder than words, but the fact that 85% of problems come from miscommunication is enough to indicate clearly that people do not always correctly interpret the actions of others or their intent.
@raigekimaru oh come on. lol. he's not really a 'little boy' as we know them.... and the rose is rather symbolic of people who try to hide their weakness and vulnerability behind outward bluster. most of us do that, to some degree, really.
this is my favorite part ...... its sad when the prince give his goodbye to his rose and the rose pretending she doesn't care, but deep in side she's hurt.. Too proud to admit it... :(
I'm reading this to my kids before bed. After the first night, I asked my kids what they thought what we had just read means. My six year old said "He's saying that kids think differently than grown ups."
Don't underestimate that kids can catch a great deal of what this book (and movie) is about. Thanks for posting it - I've never seen the movie before!
I don't like the subtitles either, but I appreciate the fact that someone posted the entire movie. Maybe someone can post a version w/out the subtitles?
Can talk with your children about what's happend .I belive they will be impressed...they have to understand that love means to be responsable, and it is very important to open your heart for to recive and give love...This is the theme of the book/film.The mind can't see the true!
So pure,so beautiful,so many symbols about responsability and love, about so many stupids thing in this world...best book and a really great film...please read the book and watch this exceptional film!!!!
Hey! That's now how the king greeted the prince!

the flower seemed TOO selfish.. in the book, she admitted that she had been silly and that she was about to cry when the prince left.
but in the movie's interpretation, she was nothing but a manipulative creature.

Disagree. As the Prince said, one should think of what someone does, not necessarily what they say.
