  • Dave Brubeck is a rhythmic genius!

  • I gave Time Further Out to my mother for a christmas gift over 30 years ago. ...i´m sorry to say my mum past away recently, ...now i´ve recieved the double lp. back in time for my 60th. birthday

btw. i´ve been listening to your up"lifting"load in germany

  • Another class; of music, life and happyness.

  • why is it when i search for the sax part i can only find the piano? wheres the love for Paul?

  • Joe Morello just passed away a few weeks ago.

    r.i.p.

  • @fromthesidelines Morello was a truly brilliant drummer !

  • Would this be appropriate for a year 12 performance piece??

  • I've had & loved "Time Out" for a very long time, however, I'm just now checking out this "Time Further Out" album. And it sounds pretty fantastic, as well.......thanks for posting this!!

  • Happy 90th birthday, Dave!

  • This man is amazing he is definately my hero

  • I have the "Essential Dave Brubeck" CD, and I love all of it :D

It doesn't have some of his less known pieces, but it has this one and it has become one of my personal favourites :)

  • desmond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • each hand is playing in a different time signature

  • Boy does this take me back to younger days. I memorized many of Desmond's sax solos (played them on muted trumpet) and this too was my favorite.

  • Recorded in May 1961; accompanying Dave's piano are Paul Desmond on sax, Eugene Wright on bass, and Joe Morello on drums {"The Classic Quartet"}. My personal favorite of the entire album, with "Unsquare Dance" a close second.

  • Maravilhoso, essa música é uma obra de arte.

  • Great stride piano piece! Thanks for this terrific post!

  • You're most certainly welcome. I just do what I do because I want to share my collection with the world. I must say, you've got a some nice pieces on your channel as well, and you've gotten me interested in albums I might have otherwise passed over or been unaware of. I guess that's what I'm hoping to do as well.
