Brother Blue is still around? I watched him quite a few times in Harvard Square but even though I liked that he was a part of life there, I found his stories dull and rambling. There's good rambling (1001 Nights) and bad rambling (lots of expos stream of consciousness writing). Brother Blue was a little too close to the latter.
Brother Blue just passed away tonight. The Boston area has lost a treasure. RIP Brother Blue.

your take on brother blue is pretty close to the latter. it's a shame when exhuberance and soulfulness are mistaken and undeservingly dismissed.

Blue became the story a long time ago,
and it took me a little while to catch on
I was the one who had to change,
and in time I grew up
one day i didn't run from the story
and then -- I dug Blue
we laughed over it quite few times
