guys i want back weopons of DW5 the musou mode of DW5 and a mode that you unlock players and the versus mode of DW4 and new players but i like the 1vs1 like

I've just recently played DW6 and just real upset that Sun Ce's new set just F'n sucks... I was more disappointed to find out they changed his weapon... but some ppl say its better or its not that bad shyt... believe me when I say its lame, just plain Yukimura and old Zhao Yun... I hope Koei gives him back what made Sun Ce in DW's if not there goes another ruined character

Sun Ce might not have lived long but he played a major role in the making of the wu kingdom. also he was zhou yu's best friend and sworn brother and we all know that zhou yu was the major stratagist of wu.

The people with flags help you sometime,if you stand next to them they increase your att/def/and speed.Sometimes they barely do it...they just run away when i try to get close to them. XD
Han wee exeptional Spear/Crossbnowmen, I suose thats why they replaced several Exotic weapons with spears. only Character I did't like is Sun Jian they made him seem somewhat eager to fight Shu(my favorite) I am disapointed Ma Chao had no storyline though

What the hell IS Lu Bu's weapon supposed to be? It's like he glued a couple of swords onto a large ring... I think I just figured out where most of the characters' weapons went.

i'm happy with the changes that koei made for the dynasty warriors in this game, but i will have to admit i am going to miss sun ce's tonfas, it was actually what got me into the series, i got all the items, orbs saddles using sun ce, used him to get fourth weapons in orochi and he is my favourite character...but it is about time they changed things with the game

And i like the fact that they brought back the grappling moves.And finally the bodies stay where they fall,instead of disappearing.
People are too upset about the character changes that they don't see the good things brought to this game(not saying that the char changes would be bad.),but just wait until they play it for the first time.^^

True, but it also takes away the individuality of each character. Besides, aren't video games not intended to be realistic anyway? If they really wanted a realistic feel, they'd probably have to remove all of the female officers, expand the time of battle from 90 minutes to a few months, and allow all of the officers to command individual groups of the army.
Ohh man this is horrible.... How come Sun Ce's tonfas were replaced by a spear and now... it were as if he stole the moves of Ma Chao.... UGH Koei really needs to fix this...
So great, Sun ce is another spear spinnin' clone for DW6. While it does honestly look more effective, they could easily make him a fast attacker.
Giving him a spear makes it more realistic? What part of DW was realistic anyways? Yeah, it'd make as much sense as it would be to bring a heavy club, overgrown nails or *gasp* a fan made of F***ing feathers. Keep the tonfas.
Overall, 6 has some of the improvements it needed, but there just some stuff i can't let go.
ok, let me put it this way, I know DW is a anime'd up version of ROTH, but for a man who basicly paved the way for the Wu kingdom to be founded, you'd think he would look and fight less cartoonish. If i were new at the series and was told that these people actualy exested, judging from there looks and the weapons, i'd have a harder time believing some over others. and Ce's tonfans wouldn't do him justice.
I can't honestly take the DW series as a good enough, serious representation of ROTK. So many names and events lost in translation. Lines misquoted, characters exaggerrated (apparently, Zhange He is nowhere near as faggy as he is in the games, or at least as he was IRL). I just see it as a hack and slash with the ROTK history as a minor back bone to it. Koei should try to break its chains to the history and try to really revamp the series.
Not alot of people take DW seriously, but for the ROTH story, DW kinda provides a face to the names, though some faces, like you pointed out, did the people no favors. IDK if Koie should break off from the history on it's games, though orochi is a blast, if they did, then knowledge would be held back as well. I learned a lot from the research and am glad that i found out about it.
Zhang He wasn't faggy at all, he was just a normal run of the mill general...well, not so run of the mill, he was one of Wei's Five Generals(their equivalent of the Tiger Generals), and outlived most of the other generals of his time.
Uh...the feather fans existed. They weren't weapons, but they were 'accessories' for wise people and such.
And personally, although I can understand where people are coming from with 'keep the tonfas,' a spear suits a guy called 'the Little Conqueror' better.
EVERYONE IS FORGETTING YEAH THE WEAPONS ARE THE SAME AND YEAH THEY MIGHT BE CLONES IN THE BEGINING BUT WHEN THEY LVL UP AND GET HIGHER THEY ARE DIFFERENT YO! keep going KOEI!!! we love your games!
you know, there's just no pleasing people today. all throught the DW saga, people cried and moaned about little things, like how some people are similar, how basic the game was, how limited it was, and stuff like that, but they missed the big picture. THE GAME WAS FUN. Now DW want to change things to try to get better raitings by making it more realistic,

Now the game looks good and is realistic, but since people cant cope with Sun Ce getting a more realistic, and may i add badass looking weapon, people want to cry. I mean, LET IT GO! Well, not that I disagree with you. But Sun Ce's tonfas really gave him a unique feel. Besides, some weapons and a person just don't go together. Look at Ling Tong for example, he's more of a speed character and they give him a weapon for power oriented characters
youre right about ling tong, not enough weapon to body ratio, yes he could have used a quick spear. But in my opinion, even though the tonfas made Sun Ce unique, they also, agian, IMO, made him kinda childish. When you use or encounter him for the very first time, you can hardly take him seriously, because he looks like a push over. For me, i didn't start using him until WO, even then he was unique but ok at best.

I think sun ce has the best moveset for this weapon for some reason.
He has those added air attacks to it at higher renbus, and on his musou, that really helps alot.
Sun Ce is also my favorite character!

i know where everyone is comin from with the bring the tonfa and nunchuks back but those wooden non-bladed weapons were used by farmers and such to defend themselves..we're etalkin about officers in an army, of course they are gonna have swords and spears.......and i would never take nunchuks in a war lol

i'm happy with the changes that koei made for the dynasty warriors in this game, but i will have to admit i am going to miss sun ce's tonfas, it was actually what got me into the series, i got all the items, orbs saddles using sun ce, used him to get fourth weapons in orochi and he is my favourite character...but it is about time they changed things with the game

Yeah,it really was about time this game series got a makeover.
And i like the fact that they brought back the grappling moves.And finally the bodies stay where they fall,instead of disappearing.
People are too upset about the character changes that they don't see the good things brought to this game(not saying that the char changes would be bad.),but just wait until they play it for the first time.^^

They made most charecters have spears and swords because they wanted a more realistic feel, i mean why would they have tonfas and nunchucks back then?

True, but it also takes away the individuality of each character. Besides, aren't video games not intended to be realistic anyway? If they really wanted a realistic feel, they'd probably have to remove all of the female officers, expand the time of battle from 90 minutes to a few months, and allow all of the officers to command individual groups of the army.

So great, Sun ce is another spear spinnin' clone for DW6. While it does honestly look more effective, they could easily make him a fast attacker.
Giving him a spear makes it more realistic? What part of DW was realistic anyways? Yeah, it'd make as much sense as it would be to bring a heavy club, overgrown nails or *gasp* a fan made of F***ing feathers. Keep the tonfas.
Overall, 6 has some of the improvements it needed, but there just some stuff i can't let go.

ok, let me put it this way, I know DW is a anime'd up version of ROTH, but for a man who basicly paved the way for the Wu kingdom to be founded, you'd think he would look and fight less cartoonish. If i were new at the series and was told that these people actualy exested, judging from there looks and the weapons, i'd have a harder time believing some over others. and Ce's tonfans wouldn't do him justice.

I can't honestly take the DW series as a good enough, serious representation of ROTK. So many names and events lost in translation. Lines misquoted, characters exaggerrated (apparently, Zhange He is nowhere near as faggy as he is in the games, or at least as he was IRL). I just see it as a hack and slash with the ROTK history as a minor back bone to it. Koei should try to break its chains to the history and try to really revamp the series.

Not alot of people take DW seriously, but for the ROTH story, DW kinda provides a face to the names, though some faces, like you pointed out, did the people no favors. IDK if Koie should break off from the history on it's games, though orochi is a blast, if they did, then knowledge would be held back as well. I learned a lot from the research and am glad that i found out about it.

Zhang He wasn't faggy at all, he was just a normal run of the mill general...well, not so run of the mill, he was one of Wei's Five Generals(their equivalent of the Tiger Generals), and outlived most of the other generals of his time.

Uh...the feather fans existed. They weren't weapons, but they were 'accessories' for wise people and such.
And personally, although I can understand where people are coming from with 'keep the tonfas,' a spear suits a guy called 'the Little Conqueror' better.

you know, there's just no pleasing people today. all throught the DW saga, people cried and moaned about little things, like how some people are similar, how basic the game was, how limited it was, and stuff like that, but they missed the big picture. THE GAME WAS FUN. Now DW want to change things to try to get better raitings by making it more realistic,

the point is, thats the weapon he's had for roughly, what, 5 series? fans grew accustomed to the trademark weapons and liked it.
i liked the tonfa sun ce because in DW3 he sounded like he was drunk, and yet he fought like a bad ass.

Well, not that I disagree with you. But Sun Ce's tonfas really gave him a unique feel. Besides, some weapons and a person just don't go together. Look at Ling Tong for example, he's more of a speed character and they give him a weapon for power oriented characters

youre right about ling tong, not enough weapon to body ratio, yes he could have used a quick spear. But in my opinion, even though the tonfas made Sun Ce unique, they also, agian, IMO, made him kinda childish. When you use or encounter him for the very first time, you can hardly take him seriously, because he looks like a push over. For me, i didn't start using him until WO, even then he was unique but ok at best.
